Was responsible for two divisions with a portfolio of SAR 6.5 billion total worth of facilities extended to 120 corporate customers. The two divisions employed 7 RMs.
Since January 2004, was the official delegate of the Corporate Banking Group Manager looking for the activities of the overall regional corporate banking group during his absences.
Established a newly born division by forming a new portfolio and building a new team and setting up strategies for growth.
Successfully led the new team resulting in exceeding preset goals.
During the 1st year, 2004, improved profitability by 50% by increasing customer base, deposits, assets, & fee income.
With increased momentum, posted profitability growth during the 2nd year, 2005, to reach a 90% rate.
During the 3rd year, 2006, achieved profitability growth of 50%.
During the three years, successfully trained/coached 4 fresh graduates until they became fully fledged RMs and were able to manage their portfolios independently.
Delivered presentations and on job training to CBG teams on Islamic Banking products and Islamic Financing structures.
Continuously participated in developing marketing strategies for the regional CBG along with the regional management and played a vital role in the recruitment, hiring, and development of new team members at the CBG platform.
Worked closely with other departments’ teams in order to facilitate signing of new mandates, development of new corporate banking products and new systems.

Gradually and successfully developed from an assistant RM (one year) to an RM (two years) and then to a senior RM (three years.)
Portfolio was grown from 10 credit relationships to more than 30 facility-customers including Saudi Aramco, diversified conglomerates, industry leaders, and other SMEs. I also backed-up colleagues for other important corporate relationships.
Involved in some large structured finance/syndicate deals attending club meetings, reviewing Term Loan Agreements, and coordinating with local and international banks on services/information related to some deals/relationships.
and always acted as a Premises Manager, my responsibilities required close liaison with (1) external parties such as Government-bodies, contractors, consulting offices, suppliers …etc. and (2) internal parties such as senior management, branches, other departments within the bank.
I was fully responsible for the budgeting, planning, designing and implementing of all the works related to the construction and renovation projects of the bank.
I was in-charge of controlling of the maintenance activities of all bank’s premises countrywide.
I was also accountable for the purchasing and warehousing of the bank’s furniture and other equipments and raw materials needed for the maintenance of the bank’s premises.
During the period I managed 5 staff including, two Architects, a Maintenance Engineer, a Government Relations Officer, and an Administrative Assistant providing them with the necessary support including skills identification, goal setting, training and development, evaluation and reward.
Based in Riyadh, was in charge of the planning, designing and implementation of all the bank’s architectural designs and construction projects in the Eastern Province.
