Preparation of Auto-Mech. Curriculum for the Semi-Skilled & Skilled Levels in terms of: Job Descriptions, Occupational Profiles, Standards and Scheme of work based on Occupational/Job/Task analysis lead to performance steps and Skills in terms of Knowledge, Practice and Attitudes dimensions. Based on the aforementioned, detailed training units (Theory and Practice will be prepared accordingly). This will contribute positively to the interest of our Institute role in National Training Projects for the sake of Nationalization of work force in Oman (Omanization).

Develops the vocational and technical education program including courses, syllabi, instructional materials, schemes of work, etc.
•Provides the Chiefs, Field Education Program in (Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, West Bank and Gaza Strip) with professional guidance for the development and improvement of the vocational and technical education programs in their fields.
•Ensures the availability of high quality training materials, equipment, tools, workshops, appropriate training spaces and facilities by establishing standards and monitory norms for consumable supplies and equipment;
•Supervises, monitors and evaluates the quality of the knowledge and skills provided to improve their relevance to the evolving needs of the society;
•Follows up the placement of the training centers’ graduates with view to establish new courses/modifying existing ones to meet the labor market needs;
•Prepares proposals for the construction, layout and modifications of the Agency’s training centers to meet the training requirements;
•Organizes, in coordination with the Chief of the Institute of Education, an appropriate staff development plan for instructors and senior instructors through in-service training courses and through scholarships/fellowships abroad.
