▪ Improve RF network performance and take charge of day to day optimization actions.
▪ Define the need for new radio sites, perform radio surveys, design new sites and produce design
documents.
▪ Accept RF planning responsibility in urban, suburban, rural, mountainous and industrial areas.
▪ Visit and check radio sites.
▪ Analyze the results of 2G/3G drive tests
▪ Produce radio site configuration database.
▪ Monitor and analyze on a daily basis radio counters results, compare them to radio KPIs and
suggest actions for optimization and improvement.
▪ Solve customers' complaints within preset timeframe and conduct root cause analysis.
▪ conduct call tracing, cell tracing and radio layer troubleshooting for root cause analysis.
▪ Implement WCDMA second carrier, dual cell HSDPA, and Inter-RAT optimization.
▪ Direct and guide internship trainees.
▪ Recommend radio research, prepare studies requested from the supervisor with detailed
documentation.
▪ Provide coverage map to concerned departments upon request.
Achievements:
▪ Expanded the network size in the area of responsibility by 20% during 2015.
▪ Customized and integrated Atoll with the network.
▪ Studied and tested Huawei 3G power saving features. Demo Link
▪ Conducted a GSM frequency plan, In which I decreased the percentage of interfered samples and
increased the RF signal quality by 8%. (Syriatel Good Job Card)
▪ Improved SyriaTel 2G/3G solution for domestic and international borders to restrict the spillage of
coverage.
▪ Achieved over 5000 Erlang new daily traffic and 10Gbytes new daily GPRS data traffic by adding
11 cells to already existing radio sites.
