Recycling and reuse of recovered water using Sulfate Removal System (SRS) technology. Flaring com-pliance by adding a third incinerator and debottlenecking existing incinerators. Reducing Total Organic Carbon (TOC) in the Ethylene Di-Chloride (EDC) plant by upgrading stripper system and provided new Membrane bio reactor unit.

This was grass root project within existing refinery. Two separate trains each designed for 100 tons/day capacity of Sulfur Recovery (SRU), along with provision of Tail Gas Treating unit (TGTU)
• Evaluated usage of flare off-gas in Thermal Oxidizer, and sizing of HC flare KO Drum.
• Prepared PFD and P&IDs for Sulfur Recovery & Tail Gas Treating Unit.
• Prepared a DBM package and performed hydraulic evaluation of various systems.
• Prepared process data for electrical classification of various equipment.
• Completed a technical evaluation of vendor proposed solutions.

Petro-Canada Refinery Conversion Project, Edmonton, Alberta
This was a Refinery Upgrading Project to enable existing refinery to process heavy crude from Alberta Oil Sands. I was involved in the fractionation area of the project.
• Performed hydraulic calculations in the Debutanizer and Naphtha Splitter areas.

Petro-Canada Refinery Revamp Project, Montreal, Quebec
A Crude Reconfiguration project, this revamp was aimed at increasing crude unit capacity while minimizing any major equipment modifications.
• Performed system hydraulic calculations (line / pump / control valve sizing) for various process circuits.
• Prepared process P&ID and PFDs for the crude unit.
