working with woqod (Qatar Fuel) at procurement & contracts department as a material engineer job responsibility involves inspection of all Discipline Material of LPG CNG, PNG, Plant, bitumen plant, Raslaffan & Abu hamour Fuel depo projects operation & maintance spare parts incoming international oil & gas material shipments, and technical evaluation of quotation, Bids, Contracts of procurement Department.
planning preparing the list of site material form the approved drawing..raise RFI for inspection of recived material check the quality & quntity of material, arraange transport to sent the material at site.purchase the shortage or localmaterialsor conumable item maintaining the reord for nnuak invenrty count or audit.
inspection of receiving material, prepairing RFI & documentation of all discipline site material.procuring & sourcing of shortage or consumable material rom local market, prepairing LPO & technical evaluaion of quotatons.controlingand cordinating site materials with project team.
• Inspecting, verifying, checking all discipline received shipment, Incoming Materials or vendor delivered items, equipment and device against Purchase order specification drawing, packing list, COC & COO. Quality of goods as per ISO standard.
• Quality Inspection of material & certificates, MTC, calibration certificates, MSDS and Report as per ISO & QCP, ITP ASTM, API, ANSI & ASME. Preparing receiving Inspection Report.
• Prepare & raise RFI for the project item coordinate with construction & erection team
• Material receiving plan for direct Issue to site or storage in yard for the site work progress.
• Supervision of material loading, unloading preservation at site installation & commissioning guide line as per project standard & Requirement and fallow the safety Rules.
• Prepare the Material storage plan & check the Preservation for Materials and equipment’s.
• Coordinate with QC team, Erection team, site engineers & end user for any discrepancy in Received material while inspection and prepare MDR or shortage & damage report.
• Aware highlight the safety precaution of Hazardous Materials, oil, chemical & gas storage or line and display MSDS Separate the Materials, keep the sensitive Materials in hazardous zone.
• Verify check the material specification against po packing list inspection check list valves set pressure or burst pressure calibration certificates MTC heat numbers.
• Prepare damage & shortage report for incorrect received materials,
• Equipment Master and Vendor Master list preparation and maintain the Record.
• Coordinate with vendor’s user for logistic requirement attend meeting update the day by day work activity to the management.
• Arrange Transport & equipment’s manpower for Material movement urgent requirement.
• Ensuring/Verifying correct OEM part number Manufacturer & material details of requested items.
• Primary or focal point for all Materials procurement/Purchasing Requirements
• Review specification materials OEM part number Technical data sheet for correction.
• Setup & negotiated contract to obtained favorable pricing & delivery structures.
• Built relation with vendors to negotiate ideal terms of purchase. Develop & strength supplier relationship
• Evaluated internal needs & develop plans for maintaining optimum supply level.
• Tracked purchase order & follow up with vendor & Customer to support timely delivery.
• Research & identified potential new suppliers to increase vendor base.
• Maintained current understanding of pricing structure, market condition & trend in industry.
• Maintain up-to-date data base of vendors, and contracts to supply accurate record keeping.
