Projects consisted of: Central Degassing Station, Remote Degassing Station, Water Injection Clusters for water injection to oil wells including chemical injection facilities, 20" production fluid transfer line from RDS to the CDS, 6" gas injection trunk line from the CDS to RDS for distribution to gas injection wells, 22 flow lines from producing wells to RDS-1 and 2 flow lines directly to the CDS, 5 gas injection flow lines from RDS-1 and 4 gas injection lines directly from the CDS., 14" Main Oil Line (MOL) to the CDS at Asab oil field. Utility systems (220/33KV substation, MV/LV SWGs, 33KV OHTL, Emergency Diesel Generators, chemical injection package, Instrument Air Compressors, Nitrogen Generation Package, Fire water pumps, Telecom, Integrated Control and Safety System, Gas compressors, .ect)
Responsible for the following: • Report to the project director/commissioning directive on all matters related to commissioning.
• Lead, direct and motivate a team of discipline commissioning Engineers throughout the precommissioning/ commissioning phases of the Project.
• Prepare/review Plans, schedules and Procedures in relation to pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up of facilities
• Plan manpower requirements.
• Organize and control Vendor representatives.
• Preparation of commissioning spare parts list.
• Preparation of test equipments requirements
• Ensure that the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in accordance on the ICAPS Software, approved method statements & procedures, approved commissioning procedures
• Review the pre-commissioning and Commissioning Dossiers.
• Review and approve Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) procedure for all systems/packages
• Co-ordinate and a key player in Factory & Site Acceptance Tests where required.
• Attend and witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) of 220KV GIS, 220/34.5 KV, 125MVA transformers, 33KV GIS, 33 KV capacitor banks, power and distribution transformers, 11KV and 3.3 KV SWGs 415 V SWGs and switchboards, distribution panels DC and AC UPS, 11 KV motors 4.2 MW and diesel generators
• Attend all progress review meetings and report on progress of commissioning..
• Advise system priorities, to Construction Focal Point, with a view to early and efficient hand-over.
• Establish budgets and schedules for all work under the control of Commissioning and manage delivery accordingly
• Provide commissioning support when required, during start up and the initial operations phase of the project.
• Compliance in accordance with HSE Standard.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise a team of Electrical Engineers and supervisors in carrying out commissioning activities of electrical equipment
• Provide regular communication of system status, schedule issues, quality issues, etc to Project Commissioning Manager.
• Familiarize with the remaining pre-commissioning and commissioning work scope for electrical equipment for each system. Identify opportunities for early system handover of systems.
• Familiar with the project sub-systems and systems represented on Limits of System Handover (LOSH) Drawings.
• Familiar with the Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning strategy defined in Core Test Plan
• Assure rigorous implementation of approved Commissioning Method Statements and System Commissioning Procedures.
• Approve check sheets and Commissioning Procedure for Electrical discipline.
• Ensure safety critical Electrical equipment meets the performance standards defined in project standard of performance.
• Ensure that preservation and maintenance on electrical equipment is correctly identified and is being carried out in accordance with Preservation Procedure.
