Supervising the overall implementation of Advancing Agricultural Market in Syria project (AAMS) in 3 districts in Hasakeh governorate, supervising the implementation process on remotely basis, recruitment and capacity building of (39) field staff, creating linkages with local councils in targeted districts of the project, drafting project work-plans with setting an appropriate monitoring and evaluation tools in coordination with M&E department, providing logistical and admin support to field offices, conducting need assessments, knowledge management and sharing.

Managing the overall operations of “Advancing Agricultural Markets in Daraa” project in southern Syria. Remotely line management for (12) staff member. Developing project procurement and operational work plans. Supervision of project expenditures and applicability to project activities. Representation of Auranitis in clusters and partner’s meetings. Development and implementation of field staff capacity-building programs. Supporting the organization in the overall development in its cross-sectoral humanitarian operations in Jordan. Development of field M&E plan.

Provide leadership for JEN overall projects as one of the main Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sector-implementing partners of UNICEF at Za’atari Syrian refugee camp level, and coordination with local communities surrounding the camp. Managing a team of 4 international, 42 national staff and +150/200 casual refugee workers in-charge of WASH, livelihood and technical engineering support projects, in addition to supervising the overall implementation of projects sub-activities including community mobilization, protection, hygiene promotion, media team, and cash for work (CfW). Representing JEN in different donor’s meetings and on country level with the Jordanian ministries, along with submitting monthly, quarterly and yearly reports to different donors. Assist in submitting concept notes and projects proposal. Ensure a human resource plan of recruitment and capacity building is in place. Ensure the safety of all JEN field staff operating at Za’atari camp.

Conducting regular participatory assessments by using a gender and age perspective to fully understand the refugee population and its sub-groups, their protection concerns and needs. Supporting the identification of refugee leaders and refugee community workers. Establishment of community sectoral committees. Assisting in the development of a training program, particularly on the concept of vulnerability in a camp setting, for INTERSOS social workers, refugee leaders, community networks and sectoral committees’ members. Improving refugee participation by mobilizing communities during all phases of programming, with specific measures to involve women and children participation. Collaborating with UNHCR Protection staff to ensure coordination with all stakeholders in the early identification and referral of GBV cases. Liaising and developing recreational activities for children, youth and women.

Manage all operations related to project implementation according to work plan, budget and implementation strategy. Supervise and oversee the selection of 75 Community based Organization (CBO). Supervising (7) staff members from those who are qualified in the field of protection and disabilities. Document all project activities, achievements and lessons learned in monthly and quarterly basis and in any other means requested by the donors. Planning and supervising the implementation of different project activities. Submitting monthly, quarterly and yearly reports to donors.

Management of field team leaders and supervisors along with delegating tasks amongst them in a highly efficient manner. Contribute to the overall project development and design as per given guidelines mandate of DRC. Supporting the project manager in writing concept papers and project proposals. Following up the program implementation as set in the projects objectives. Collecting and analyzing information from field officers in Iraq (South and South Center governorates) and compiling them for the financial and narrative periodic reporting to donors. Participating in the recruitment process of field staff and designing capacity building training programs. Following up with the documentation process and knowledge management/sharing of the organization. Lead on the collation and analysis of data for ad hoc reporting as required (i.e. Periodical IDPs, refugees and refugee returnee assessment). Participated in/ initiated technical/ sectoral meetings and working groups involving NGOs, UN agencies (UNHCR, OCHA, UNOPS, UNAMI, etc.), other line ministries and governmental bodies.

Implementation of all phases of the grant fund contractual process including: preparation, selection, negotiation, implementation, reporting and evaluation of different projects implemented by partner Community Based Organizations (CBOs) in Iraq related to Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), conflict assessment, national dialogue and reconciliation. Management of (36) grants implemented by (24) Community Based Organizations (CBOs) in Iraq. Providing technical support for grant funds/contracts to ensure appropriate practices are in place by partner CBOs. Conducting capacity building programs for partner CBOs whenever needed. Maintaining continuous communication with project field staff to ensure timely and satisfactory completion of partner CBOs projects. Establish and maintain a systematic filing system of documents in relation to grant funds. Day-to-day administration of Local NGOs Database. Developing Terms of Reference (TOR) for all personnel to be recruited in various projects.

Management of donor contract, through developing a detailed work-plan to ensure efficient and timely implementation of project activities. Submitting timely, accurate and high quality narrative and financial reports to management and donor. Drafting project financial documents such as budget projections, budgets revision and setting financial monitoring tools. Development of new proposals for funding. Liaison with Managers of Community Development, Material Assistance and Quality Departments for facilitating coherence of services. Management supervision of (26) program staff. Overseeing the implementation of the project work accomplishments according strategic directions. Annual planning and designing performance management system for all project staff.

Identification of available skills within refugee community to design the appropriate capacity building programs according to the actual needs. Supervising the implementation process of the different vocational, rehabilitation and recreational activities of the project. Designing joint activities with local community and refugees to enhance integration.

Working alongside international instructors at training classes to translate different lessons from English to Arabic and vice versa in the different departments of Human Rights, Antiterrorism, Crime, practical applications and fire arms sections. Supporting instructors with designing training materials and tools. Preparing weekly exams and preparations of literacy exams. Analyzing cadets (students) abilities and improvements level. Translating training curriculums from Arabic to English and vice versa.
