Job Description:
1- Review detailed design drawings and specifications.
2- Supervise and review the preparation of construction method statements with
construction personnel.
3- Planning and maintaining project budget and schedules.
4- Take part in the project management review and risk management review.
5- Attend progress meetings, discuss and suggest technical proposals.
6- Managing the cost analysis and cost control of site activities.
7- Review third-party invoices & client invoices.
8- Follow-up with subcontractors during negotiations and offer award or
subcontract terms, performance and payments.
9- Maintaining organized and detailed project records.
10- Preparing technical and material submittals.
11- Coordinating between the construction and engineering teams ensuring that
the construction requirements are conveyed to the engineering teams and that
the engineering deliverables satisfy the construction requirements.
12- Coordinating with quantity surveyors or payment appreciations and change
orders.
13- Taking part in selection process of subcontractors and suppliers for projects.
14- Preparing and reviewing subcontractors invoices.
15- Taking part in the contractual aspect of projects.
16- Maintaining organized and detailed records and documents of all projects
(i.e. working drawings, quantity surveying, purchase orders … etc.) and
coordinating with different teams to get these documents issued.
17- Checking the quality of the work executed.
18- Planning and preparing project paperwork and updating it regularly in liaison
with the Project Manager.
19- Lead and manage the technical arm (QS, QC, shop drawings, invoicing,
dealing with Projects Engineer, etc.).
20- Preparing Variations or Claims due to cost and time impact.
21- Coordinate the architectural designs, drawings, and specifications for new
and revised structures.
22- Prepare and Review shop drawings and follow up drawings amendments
during the implementation process
23- Preparation of As-built drawings.
24- Implement cost effective measures for reducing project cost
25- Prepare budgets, bids, and contracts, and direct the negotiation of research
contracts.
26- Follow up time schedule Plan and looking ahead.
