Project: Damac Hills - Dubai, Infrastructure, Roads and Landscape Works (Akoya Park and Trump &Veneto clusters. Cost: AED 145 + 28 Millions)
Damac Hills is a lush green community in Dubai, which includes Akoya Golf & Park, the Trump International Golf Club and branded villas concepts. KEO is the lead consultant for the project including Fire, Irrigation and Sewerage pumping stations, MMRs, roads, landscape and infrastructure works consisting of sewerage, storm water drainage, potable water network, irrigation system, telecom, electrical, street lighting and other related works.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the site supervision team, ensuring that tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documented in accordance with approved procedures. Generally supervise, review, monitor and report on progress.
• Perform field engineering assignments involving in the execution, supervision, and coordination of all technical, contractual and safety aspects of the project.
• Review and approve Contractor’s submissions including drawings, method statements, material submittals, prequalification of sub-contractors and material suppliers.
• Review and verify contractor’s payment certificates (IPCs).
• Review and provide recommendations on contractor’s claims and variation orders.
• Reviewing and follow-up on designs in coordination with the design team and providing site input and feedback.
• Coordinate, facilitate and arrange meetings with client, contractors and other agencies related to the project construction. Preparing minutes of meeting and progress reports.
• Laise and coordinate with the client’s representatives, Facilities Management team, government authorities, contractors and other agencies related to the project.

Project: Roads and Infrastructure works at Masdar City - Abu Dhabi (Total Cost: AED 105 Million)
Masdar City is one of the world’s most sustainable urban communities. It is made up of a rapidly growing clean-tech clusters, business free zone, Masdar Institute and residential area with commercial and public green areas. I worked on infrastructure and roads Projects for Masdar Headquarter, Al Khazna Data Centre and Plots Enabling, consisting of Car Parks, roads and infrastructure works including storm water drainage, potable water network, irrigation system, telecom, electrical, district cooling networks, street lighting, electrical substations, water features and other related works.

Project: Al Ghareba - Shamal Al Shuaibah Emirati Housing Project - Al Ain (Infrastructure Package. Cost AED 300 Million)
The scope of works includes bulk earthworks, construction of storm water drainage system, sewerage network, potable water, telecom, irrigation works, landscape, parks, street lighting, sidewalks, roads and other related works for a 600 villas community development developed by M/s Sorouh Real Estate.
Responsibilities:
• Supervising the Contractor’s daily construction activities, monitor and assign duties to the site supervision staff, ensure contractor’s compliance to Quality and safety standards.
• Follow up work progress and project matters with Resident Engineer and Project Manager. Assist in all technical, contractual and project management matters.
• Monitor progress of works as per approved programs for construction including procedures, layouts, equipment, manpower requirements and coordination.
• Contribute relevant data to the weekly and monthly progress reports. Liaise on project matters with all related parties.
• Liaise with the client’s representative and government authorities for project issues, approvals of materials, shop drawings, method statements etc.
• Checking and reviewing of shop drawings, as-built drawings, and method statements, material submittals, prequalification of sub-contractors and material suppliers submitted by the contractor for approval.

Project: Canyon Views, Islamabad.
The scope of infrastructure works covers bulk earthworks, construction of main collector road and internal roads, structures, landscape areas, streetscape, lighting, electrical substations, swimming pools, fountains, water tanks, storm water drainage, sewerage and other underground services, sidewalks and other infrastructure works at Emaar mega development project Canyon Views, Islamabad Pakistan.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise the site supervision team, ensuring that tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documented in accordance with approved procedures. Generally supervise, review, monitor and report on progress.
• Perform field engineering assignments involving the development, execution, supervision, and coordination of all technical, contractual and safety aspects of the project.
• Review Contractor’s submissions.
• Liaise with the Employer, contractors and other agencies related to the project.

Project: Canyon Views, Islamabad.
This is an Emaar project, spread over an area of 1000 acres. The project consists of bulk earthworks, roads, drainage, sewerage and other infrastructure works, Townhouses & Villas and mid rise buildings in a range of architectural styles with easy access to amenities including retail centres, community club houses, parks, lakes, schools and mosques. My scope of work included management of all the infrastructure works.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and administer the activities of contractors including general direction and coordination of all contractors on the site.
• Dealing with the client’s representative and government authorities for the resolution of the project critical issues and other related matters.
• Manage and administer the contractor’s programs for construction including procedures, layouts, equipment, manpower requirements, contractor interface and coordination.
• Oversee the performance of the supervision consultants, ensuring that quality control and safety procedures are being implemented.
• Participate in regular meetings and other special meetings as required during the course of project.
• Contribute relevant data to the PM monthly progress report and special reports as necessary.
• Review of design for various infrastructure works and utilities.
• Participate in the bid evaluations, value engineering, evaluation of EOT and technical evaluations of claims.

Project: Improvement of Sheikh Khalifa Road Ajman. The project consists of two bridge interchanges, widening and upgrading of 6.5 Km road with relocation of the existing services and some new services and storm water drainage lines.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure contractor’s compliance to project specifications and plans, contract documents, construction methods utilized and engineering standard procedures.
• Monitor and assign duties to the site supervision staff.
• Oversee the construction activities as required. Make site visits to review progress of works.
• Checking and reviewing of shop drawings, as-built drawings, IPC's and method statements, material submittals, pre-qualifications of sub-contractors and material suppliers submitted by the contractor for approval.
• Coordinate and facilitate meetings with client, contractor and other agencies related to the project construction.
• Preparing minutes of the meetings and progress reports.

Position: Civil Engineer (Jan. 2005 to Sep. 2006.).
Project: Worked on Dubai Municipality Project, Dubai Creek Floating Pontoons Abra Stations containing construction of Abra Stations, Steel piles, Quay walls and related works.
Also worked on Aldar’s Al Raha Gardens project in Abu Dhabi, including construction of 350 residential villas, a services compound building, steel structure works, concrete works, block masonry works, piling, precast concretes and other related works.

Project: Contract - 2015/2016, Abu Dhabi Corniche Road Project.
The project consists of more than 6 million cu m of soil dredged to create 700, 000 sq m new surface area, 06 km dual carriageway having 4 lanes, tunnel, one bridge, underpasses, sheet piling and pre-stressed panels for 07 km lengthy sea wall, water features, children’s playgrounds, landscape areas and other related civil works.
