Head Nurse\Hospital 6 Months (15th August 2021- 15th February 2022).
- Supervising directly 6 supervisors (1ER, 1IPD, 1OT and 3 IPC) and 170 staff indirectly ( ER nurses, IPD nurses, OT nurses, anesthesia technicians, sterilization technicians, Head of hygiene agent, hygiene agents and stretcher bearers).
- Participate in yearly POA review and feedback for the New Year POA.
- Participating in monthly reporting with collaborations from Supervisors and submit it to hospital director.
- Ensure the medical supplies review and updating in ER, IPD, OT and IPC stock. With weekly, biweekly and monthly review.
- Ensure the improvement of quality care in all hospital departments.
- SIPCA assessment and upgrading level from L3 to L4, following and updating the SIPCA POA.
- Capacity of 8 beds in ER (2 red and 6 yellow), 41 beds in IPD (10 Pediatric, 17 neonates,
7 malnutrition, 5 KMC and 2 isolation).
- IPC focal point for all the departments in the hospital.
- Ensured the implementation of MSF protocols and guidelines with regards to IPC, waste segregation, nursing skills, etc.
- Carried out administrative HR related issues (rosters, annual/sick/circumstantial leaves, incident reports and recruitments).
- Identified training needs for the staff and created a training schedule.
- Identified problems in the departments and brought up solutions/plans (Patients peaks, COVID precautions, waste segregations).
- Update MCP contacts and MCP stock for different locations.
- Implement Narcotics policy following MSF SOP in all departments.

- Manage daily activity in the department to insure the process of patients care is smooth and efficient with collaboration with head of the department or the other actors involved.
- Insure the standards and the protocols are implemented and followed by the staff (hygiene, waste segregation, nursing skills and medical ethics to ensure patients’ rights to privacy and confidentiality are respected).
-Supervise the department medications( stored or in use) and medical equipment management
( orders, follow-up of the stock, storage conditions, inventories, follow-up of expired drugs and their destruction, drugs consumption.)to satisfy the needs of material with efficiency and effectiveness.
-Carry out data collection and check (patient’s files, records, registration books and statistics) and report it in regular manner to the medical focal point.
- Carry out administrative ‘HR related issues’ (monthly schedules, annual leaves, absence and incidents reports) and assist in staff evaluations in profession manner.
-Support the head of the department and other actors involved in day to day task, identify problems in the departments and bring up solutions and plans to avoid it in the future.
- Identify the knowledge gaps in the team and establish trainings ( formal trainings and bed side trainings) to develop the nursing care.
- Attend meetings concerned the department to keep up with new update and share department activities.
