• Resolve all routine outage, and Follow-up hardware/software problems with vendor and H.O.
• Ensure that all reports distributed, and all systems are available on time to all users.
• Ensure that Ci-net reports are sent.
• Ensure all salary file are proceeded on time.
• Ensure all other (daily, weekly, and monthly) tasks are completed on time.
• Assist in reviewing current work Procedure in order to improve works process.
• Ensure all documents are kept properly.
• Replenishes peripheral devices to ensure preventive maintenance is Carried out. Follow daily backup procedures and handover to transport them to offsite location, request and represent them whenever they require.
• Provide technical support to all users.
• Responsible for creating & reset password for all users, Lock/ UN Lock users accounts and monitor.
• Responsible for the BCP site and making sure that all is operational, BCP hardware\servers\systems implementation and testing on regular intervals.
• Attends and participates in both in-house and outside training sessions to maintain awareness of overall bank products and/or technologies to increase the skills level.
• Carrying out core Banking system patches testing.
• Planning and Implementing projects up on request and co-ordinate with the concerned people for IT development and users. Also assist on the annual budget process.
Other duties (Communications/SWIFT Room):
• Making sure that the BIC is updated monthly as per swift standard.
• Provide help on system update upon request.
• Monitor all systems related to Communications/SWIFT room in order to ensure smooth operation.
• Verifying and transmitting SWIFT messages.
• Create Users, reset passwords, lock/unlock user's accounts, and handle other administration relevant duties.
Team leader and supervisor of Sabhan Site handing the following tasks:
o Insuring that the contracts between the ministry and the vendors are delivered according to the highest standards.
o Building the IT infrastructure of Sabhan site. (network cabinets, wireless routers, DHCP servers, WIMAX link)
Supervising the installation and lunching of the wireless link between the ministry and external sites
Working along with the IBM team on installing the ministry IT infrastructure and maintaining it on contracts bases.
Assigning a VLAN to each department for sharing proposes.
Installing and updating Symantec Endpoint Protection antivirus for all MPW employees and external sites.
Joining employees on the ministry domain.
Creating usernames and passwords to employees with specific permissions to each user by Active Directory.
Creating email addresses to employees by exchange server
Enabling driver and device sharing. (separated shared drive for each department, printers, plotters, and scanners)
Accessing user workstations remotely to solve some network problems using DameWare Remote Administration Software. (Managing users and groups, updating proxy, enabling share) Installing employees’ evaluation system to managers and supervisors. (oracle)
