I have been working on infrastructures design such as Road, drainage design including storm and foul drainage, sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS) and culvert. Experience of using infowork, Stormcad and WinDes for designing of storm and foul drainage. I also do earthworks calculations and road design by using Auto CAD civil 3D. I have ability to produce drainages and road details drawings such as layouts, longitudinal sections, SUDS details by using Auto CAD and Auto CAD Civil 3D. I am using ArcMap which has all infrastructure information and data regarding the State of Qatar.

I have knowledge of GCC region design manual, Qatar Highway Design Manual, Local Road & Drainage Programmes, Volume 3 Drainage State of Qatar-Public Work Authority, BRE digests, ACI code, AASHTO, British Standard (BS) and HR Wallingford drainage design system.

I am regularly visiting site for supervising construction work, overseeing project progress and constructing civil work according to design requirement.

As a design engineer I am managing two graduate engineers and three draughtsman as well as managing projects progress. I am liaise with consultants and other authorities

I had work on infrastructures design such as Road, drainage design including storm and foul drainage, sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS). Experience to simulate of storm and foul drainage by using Micro drainage WinDes version W 12.6.1 programs incorporate with SUDS. I also do earthworks calculations by using Auto CAD civil 3D. I have ability to produce drainages and road details drawings such as layouts, longitudinal sections, SUDS details by using Auto CAD and Auto CAD Civil 3D.

I also produce drainage report, SUDS strategy report and bridge inspection reports. I am familiar with flood risk assessment and environmental impact assessment.

I prepare applications of Pre-Development Enquiry (PDE), and infrastructure connection SF1 form (drainage technical approval) for Scottish Water together with drainage reports, drawings and associated information. I submit application of Road Construction Consent (RCC) and section 56 to local authority together with all drawings and information. Bill of quantity for the projects. Liaising with client, architect, contractor, environmental agency, Scottish Water and local authority regarding the drainage and road matters.

As a design civil engineer I was managing two trainee engineers and two civil technicians.

I have produce drainages and road details drawings such as layouts, longitudinal sections, SUDS details by using Auto CAD and PDS.

I also produced drainage report, drainage strategy and SUDS strategy report.

I was responsible to prepare applications of Development Impact Assessment (DIA), and infrastructure connections DSD1 form (drainage technical approval) for Scottish Water together with drainage reports, drawings and associated information; and I was submitting application of Road Construction Consent (RCC) to local authority together with all drawings and information. I was consulting with client, architect, contractor, environmental agency, Scottish Water and local authority regarding the drainage and road matters.

I had experience on designing and implementing of Wind farm’s water management included SUDS design. I was employed as a Site Engineer at Tallentire Wind Farm, Carlisle since July to October 2012. I have worked on behalf of Forkers Renewable Energy, a division of Forkers Ltd.

I have knowledge of environmental legislations, Water legislations, and CDM regulation 2007 and got CSCS card. I have experience on using SUDS manual, Sewer for Scotland 2nd Edition, Sewers for Adoption, Scottish Building Standards Section-3 Environment, Local authority road construction specification, Civil Engineering Specification for the Water Industry (CESWI), and Standard Specification for Water and Sewerage Schemes.

I have gained experience about project management includes structural design of high rise and low rise building, site supervising, site setting, material testing, bill of quantity of all civil work and checking the contractor’s bill. I was responsible to run site office management and project management.
