• Assisting in preparation of Ledgers of Employees Funds in Individual accounts of employees and Trust Funds Accounts
• Assisting in preparation of up to 10 Financial Statements (Statement of Financial Position and Income Statement) of our 10 trust funds. • Monthly bank r econciliation of 10 trust funds. • Assisting in y early closing of accounts. • Assisting internal and external auditors in auditing of Funds accounts.
• Making entries of payments to employees on retirement (Gratuity and Commutation) as well as monthly payments like Benevolent Fund, monthly pension etc. • Calculating annual pr ofits on CP Fund and applying that profit to individual CP fund accounts of employees. • Modeling for Budgeting and Managing for the requirement of Funds in different Employee Funds (Up to 8 Post Retirement Funds) and then advising management on investment of surplus funds in Term Deposit Receipts(TDRs), Treasury Bills, and Long Term Pakistan Investment Bonds( PIBs ). • T aking quotations from financial institutions selected by Trustees and advising investment of funds among those Institutions on the basis of rates offered, credit ratings and already taken exposure with the institutions. • Calculating Discounts and Pr emiums on long term investment and allocating appropriate proportion in each year.
• Management of Account Receivables and Account Payables
• Preparation of purchase and sales day books
• Preparation of Cash book on daily basis
• Was involved in compete accounting cycle from making journal entries to the preparation financial statements
• Record business transactions and key daily worksheets to the general ledger system
• Management of Credit Control System
• I Dealt with a turnover of over Rs60 million per year
• I was in charge of the reconciliations for 3 large bank accounts
• Worked successfully with 2 junior accountants and completed work procedures in extreme deadlines.
• Petty Cash Management
• Inspect account books and accounting statements, regularly review age receivables and assist bookkeeper on day-to-day activities
