 Preparation of Project report based on the internal requirement for the preparation of Design Drawings.

 Preparing the concept design documents (Drawings & Specifications) and Construction design documents (Drawings & Specifications).

 Preparing and checking the Tender Documents (BOQ, Drawings & Specifications) prior to issuing it to the contractors.

 Preparing the commercial & technical comparison statement for the contractors.

 Attending the Pre tendering and post tendering meetings with the contractors.

 Issuing the addendums and replying the RFI’s (request for information) and queries raised by the contractors.

 Evaluation of Tenders submitted by the contractor for the projects based on technical and commercial comparison sheets & other documents and submitting the recommendations.

 Reviewing schedule of works based on CPM, Milestones, Long lead items, scope of works and logical sequence of the activities.

 Reviewing & approving the Interim Payments Certificate (IPC) based on progress of work on the site and Final Payments upon completion of work.

 Reviewing and approving the Variations and extension of time submitted by contractors.

 Checking the material submittals submitted by contractor based on the project specifications.

 Checking the Drawing submittals submitted by contractor based on the Design drawing (Issued for construction) & specifications including the addendums (if any).

 Monitoring the Site progress based on Progress report submitted by Consultant / Contractor and site visit’.

 To attend Technical & Progress Meetings with Consultants and Contractors for the progress of site and other construction issues.

 To recheck the design of the HVAC and P&D systems including space heat load calculations for HVAC, Total Water requirement for P& D, Fire Fighting Pump and tank capacity etc.

 To prepare material submittals including the required schedules, Engineering Calculation, compliance statements etc. and follow up with the consultants for approval.

 Co-ordinate with Draftsman to prepare shop drawings & Builders Work drawings based on the approved material submittals, in co-ordination with other services (electrical & plumbing), involving ducting and piping design based on specified/approved standards and follow up with the consultants for approval.

 Submitting the Engineering Calculations such as Pump head for CHW Pumps, Booster water, Transfer water and Drainage pumps and ESP Calculations for AHU’s, FCU’s and Fans, Riser Calculations for CHW and Fire Fighting.

 To attend site meetings and coordinate activities of the project (including liaison with consultants and other services) till the execution stage.

 To prepare O & M Manual including original catalogues, Maintenance schedules etc. and follow up with the consultants for approval.

 To hand over the project, ensure timely completion of all installation, testing & commissioning activities with regular site visits.
