a. Expert in most operating systems and scripting used in deployment such as UNIX (Solaris and HP-UX), Linux (most flavors) and windows, this includes starting, stopping and monitoring scripts.
b. Knowing the advance tips and tricks used in deployment.
c. Expert in services deployment, integration and the services domain such as SMPP, SNMP, HTTP, billing…etc.

• Advance packaging knowledge
a. Prepare the packaging scripts using ANT Script technology to facilitate and enhance the packaging process.
b. Prepare the packaging documentation to be reference to the other engineers.
c. Perform the packaging script and ensure that the generated JARs and WARs archives are valid and standardized.
• Advanced deployment knowledge
a. Expert in most operating systems and scripting used in deployment such as UNIX (Solaris and HP-UX), Linux (most flavors) and windows, this includes starting, stopping and monitoring scripts.
b. Expert in backup/restore planning techniques such as snapshots, incremental and differential…etc.
c. Knowing the advance tips and tricks used in deployment.
d. Expert in services deployment, integration and the services domain such as SMPP, SNMP, HTTP, billing…etc.
• Advanced SS7 deployment knowledge
a. Signaling deployment preparation and implementation.
b. Dialogic Signaling cards installation and configuration using ms7 and config.txt file.
c. MAP messages decoding/encoding.
d. Troubleshooting and identifying the problems.
• Perform HW sizing and Dimensioning.

• Performing on/off-site installation of advanced UNIX based software systems for telecommunications.
• Performing on-site integration of telecommunications core network systems (such as SMSC, MMSC, IN…etc) with existing customer-based systems.
• Executing internal system test at customer sites.
• Executes an Acceptance Test Plan with a customer representative.
• Debugging faults found during testing: collect diagnostic information; co-ordinate with application developers and system software groups to advise and obtain fixes and workarounds.
• Co-ordinates with technical team to implement systems and software upgrades into the production environment.
• Interfaces with Operations, Support staff, Vendors and Customers; and provides status reports to the management.
• Provides technical training and product overview
