Currently working as a Road Inspector on a major road infrastructure development project in Riyadh, KSA, with a total project value of SAR 650 Million. The project comprises Section-01 with approximately 21 km road length and Section-02 with approximately 12.5 km road length, including 5 main axes. Each axis consists of 4 lanes along with service roads and associated infrastructure works.

Works Responsibilities:

Responsible for daily QA/QC inspections and site monitoring of road works, structural works, bridges, overpasses, drainage, utilities, stormwater, irrigation, landscaping, and hardscaping activities as part of the PMCM supervision team. Inspection scope includes columns, retaining walls, deck slabs, formwork, steel reinforcement, concrete works, cable stressing and grouting, waterproofing, backfilling, rock filling, subgrade, subbase, aggregate base course, prime coat, tack coat, bituminous base course, bituminous wearing course, kerbstone installation, road marking, and road gantry installation.

Reviewed shop drawings, method statements, ITPs, material submittals, MIRs, MARs, and contractor Inspection Requests to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality requirements. Prepared daily inspection reports, surveillance reports, site observations, NCRs, and site instructions as required. Followed up with contractors for corrective actions, closure of NCRs, and rectification of site comments.

Coordinated with the Resident Engineer, QA/QC team, discipline engineers, contractor teams, consultants, and project stakeholders for inspection approvals, material testing, line and grade verification, documentation control, and smooth execution of site activities. Ensured all works were carried out in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, QA/QC procedures, HSE requirements, and PMCM quality standards.

• Conducted thorough site inspections to guarantee compliance with project specifications and quality standards, enhancing overall project integrity.
• Reviewed contractor QA documentation, including submittals and inspection reports, ensuring adherence to regulations and project requirements.
• Witnessed and verified material and equipment deliveries, confirming alignment with client-approved submittals and specifications to prevent discrepancies.
• Proactively identified and reported deviations or non-conformities, facilitating timely resolutions and maintaining project timelines.
• Developed expertise in civil inspection, road inspection, wet utilities inspection, and drainage inspection, ensuring comprehensive quality assurance across various project aspects.
