Supervision of all Mechanical system like reviewing drawing, material submittals, documents submitted by Main Contractor for comments and/or approval and to ensure compliance with project specification requirements, program, Inspection of works, attending site meeting etc
Execute the project as per standard like ASHRAE / SMACNA / DW142 / NFPA.
Experienced in establishing good coordination and communication among the different disciplines working on the project and to checker IR, RFI's for mechanical installation and issuing site instruction & NCR reports if work quality is not compliance as per international code/standards and project specification.
To coordinate and conclude with QS, the weightages of each services with its breakdown for internal payment to the contractor, and also to interlink the system with Inspection request log which helped to evaluate payment as claimed by the contractor.
Supervision of HVAC like AHUs, FCUs, Heat Exchanger, valves and accessories, Supply, Fresh, exhaust air duct, staircase pressurization and car park ventilation system.
Supervision of PLUMBING Sewerage, and drainage, storm water, domestic water piping system and sanitary fixture.
Supervision of FIR FIGHTING Sprinkler system, Wet and Dry riser system, Pump station, Fire smoke management, Foam, FM200, NOVEC fire suppression system.
Installation of split and package units, FCUs, AHUs, Chilled water pumps, Ducts and Pipes as per drawing and with the given standard.
Checking the quality of workmanship in installation of above equipments, piping and ducting in various stages to ensure that the work is completed with close co ordination of other services and the given standards.
Quantities take off for all equipments and materials involved in the project for HVAC/Plumbing installation.
Supervising execution of all kinds of mechanical works i.e. Air-Conditioning, Fire-Fighting, Plumbing and Drainage works.
Carry out engineering design review and highlighting any discrepancies.
Coordination with other Engineering disciplines for the smooth execution of works at site.
Preparing closing documents like Testing & commissioning document, As built drawings
And operation & maintenance manuals of HVAC/Plumbing

Job Key Responsibilities:
Reviewing Design Drawings for Mechanical System including but not limited to HVAC, Plumbing. Drainage, Fire Fighting etc.
Carrying out daily QA/QC inspection related to services installation.
Issuing Field (Site) instruction to contractor for my non-conformity with regards to project specification and industry standards.
Attending meeting with the management to discuss EHS issue, Liaising the site work with higher management and highlighting the area of concern.
Assisting the Resident Engineer in reviewing the shop drawing and other contractor’s submittals
Self-handing the project Documentation from the date of demarcation to till hand over the project.
Attend coordination meetings with the architect consultant for design coordination.
Ensure internal project inspections for HVAC & plumbing & fire fighting works are carried out prior to consultant inspections.
Assess whether all work is in compliance with statutory and project specifications.
Make the document control system comply with project requirements.
Visit the site regularly to create quality awareness and application to all site activities.
Monitor the inspection of test plans and ensure that hold points are correctly defined.
Issue notes of non-conformance reports (NCR) and observations to site engineer and sub-contractors.
Ensure that corrective actions and preventive measures are taken to close NCRs.
Inspect all equipment and material to be installed.
Verify whether equipment and material is properly stored and protected as per contract specifications and manufacture recommendation.
Perform surveillance and spot checks of construction activities to assess whether specifications and drawings are strictly implemented.
Maintain records related to the calibration of testing equipment.
Coordinate with consultants for daily quality inspections.
Record the results of inspection/tests in daily quality control reports.
