• Communicate inspection findings and recommendations during the outages to Facility Management and Maintenance Group.
• Review of all Boilers & Heat exchangers major pressure part replacement scopes and pressure part design modifications with the Regional Boilers Reliability Engineer’s.
• Work on product-sustaining projects, which involve replacement or redesign for obsolete components, product improvement features, cost reduction, manufacturing support and field.
• Coordinating with Plant Planning personnel and periodically reviewing and monitoring the approved budget, resources and maintenance schedules to ensure sufficient availability of resources, man power and spare parts required to meet maintenance requirements and work load for department/section.
• Reviewing the detailed scope of work (SOW) and preparing the work packs for fabrication at facility.
• Lead shop floor and site teams, ensuring project activities are properly planned, engineered and carried out on schedule and within budgeted man-hours.
• Reviewing the Quality documentation QA/QC and assisting to prepare inspection and test plans (ITPs).
• Prepared Turn Around (TA) and scope of work with respect to maintenance strategies and maintenance history through SAP.
• Analyzing and assisting for technical hurdles in the fabrication field with right engineering solution.
• Provided technical support to fabrication team about scope of work and field side activities also make the execution and shutdown/turnaround plans for jobs on MS Project.
• Managing all project cost effectiveness & optimize the fabrication within defined time frame & allocated budget.
• Working as Project Engineer for ongoing project Management Team (PMT) of Dar Petro & Leading a team of workshop & site supervisors for various projects.
• To determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements and performance standards, Complete technical studies.
• Estimate and Prepare a Budget and work plan for different Electromechanical activities based on Activity weight and company procedure (Equipment, Material, Man‐Power and Man-hours needed)
• Implementation SABIC Engineering standards SES and SAES SAUDI ARAMCO ENGINEERING STANDARDS.
• Keep an eye on the authenticity and updating of all costing data / factors provided by various other departments of the Company.
• Monitor actual workshop progress, particularly manpower deployment, productivity and raise corrective measures.
• Executed necessary project processes including conducting a comprehensive project kickoff, scheduling reviews, regular project team meetings, lessons learned, design freeze, customer design and project reviews.
• Preparation of project planning package as per contract, BOQ.
• Preparation of schedule of variation order (VO), job instructions (JI) and claims.
• Conducting job scope meetings & site visits with all concerned department for preparation of job plans.
• Responsible of producing & implementation of project management procedure for all the active projects in KSA.
• Work hand-in-hand with the project team to create a mutual understanding of the project strategy based on the requirement of the project.
• Interface and regularly meet with client representatives, conduct internal staff meetings, ensure the progress of project in accordance to schedule, Allocated man hours and budgeted costs.
• Responsible to review the design engineering activities and specifications of all Electrical design, according to the requirements of the project as per international Codes and Standards.
• Define the project team requirements and request appropriate resources for project office set up and must be able to set up strong Project control mechanisms
• Developed specifications and data sheets and prepare material requisitions for LV and HV electrical switchgear, UPS, MCC, power transformers, trace heating materials and distribution equipment, earthing and other electrical equipment.
• Interfacing effectively with the client (as required), other engineering disciplines, construction and any other internal and third parties.
• Compute forecast cost based on the revised budget, estimate to complete and committed cost to detect any deviation (overrun/under run). Update contingency reserves reductions. Ensure Cost report variations are analyzed and highlighted.
• Fully Involved with General Electric (GE) in Installation, Software Up gradation, Erection, and Testing & Commissioning Activities of different system logics .and start-up of DCS MARK VI E System
• Review the instruments/electrical data sheets, loop drawings, cable schedules, interlock sequence
• Review the design documentation from all aspects of installation, commissioning and maintenance
• Assist in contract management and contract administration that include handling variation claims/change orders
• Managing overall activities pertaining to installation and commissioning of Electrical and instrumentation of a wide range of machinery, systems and equipment’s. Resource planning and mobilization on the sites to meet the client requirements.
• Reviewing the existing maintenance strategies for electrical and instrumented assets
• Coordinating the entire instrumentation team, JB installation, tray works, cable laying, Glanding, loop checking commissioning activities.
• Initiating tests on various instruments like Temperature Transmitters, RTD, Pressure transmitters, Pressure Gauges, Control valves, Safety valves, Mass flow meter, Flow Transmitter’s, Motor control centers and switchgear’s.
• Ability to coordinate with other disciplines (units control, process, electrical, mechanical) for correct design and necessary agreement.
• Reviews/ prepares specifications, data sheets etc. to meet requirements of allocated tasks.
• Review of procedures, witnessing of tests, safety plan, review/clearance of punch list, coordination with client representative, handover, system completion, training, spare parts management etc.
• Maintenance and trouble shooting of field instruments used in the industry for automation of process.
• Conduct preventive maintenance of instruments as per schedule Conduct calibration (Lab and field) all kind of process instruments
• Supervise any construction job going on in industry for up gradation e.g. Cable tray installation, Cable laying, termination, panel installation, marshalling panel termination, loop testing and commissioning.
• Establishing the maintenance strategies for missing assets for all applicable failures
• Responsible for the maintenance of all production equipment and site facilities, as well as providing technical and engineering support for the manufacturing operations to help meet company objectives, targets and customer demand.
• Assist in forecasting requirements, creating a budget and scheduling expenses for the electrical department.
Degree of Bachelor of Engineering in the discipline of Electronics Engineering.
