- Plans, supports and leads Projects and Programs under the direct supervision of Operations Director, and independently, when need be.
- Develops processes, policies and procedures, in line with the
company’s Change Management Strategy.
- Ensures that projects adhere to adopted standards.
- Ensures that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality.
- Follows-up and monitors the timeline of projects / missions, to make sure progress meets expectations.
- Performs missions as requested / assigned by the Operations Director & / or Management, with a pre-defined scope. Missions include reviews on various operational matters with the objective of streamlining operations and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Prepares periodical statistical reports, summarizing the overall performance of branches located in the GCC, in terms of production, loss experience, and cash flow situation.
- Monthly evaluation of the branches production (actual vs budget).
- Prepares quarterly performance reports for producers (Brokers, agencies & sales reps).
- Follows-up with the branches on the implementation of agreed
upon Internal Audit recommendations.
- Assists and follow-up with the Legal Advisor on various official matters pertaining to the branches’ operations (authorized signatories list, proxies for branches, brokers/agencies agreements, and other issues concerning the branches’ compliance with the rules and regulations in their countries of operations.
- Follows-up with the branches on Accounts Receivable and the
implementation of the company’s credit policy.
- Prepare monthly production reports summarizing the productivity of 14 branches spread across Levant and the GCC.
- In charge of following up on the companies’ Accounts Receivable in coordination with the Finance department on quarterly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of the branches’ performance reports on quarterly basis.
- Ensure that the department’s records are well maintained and updated.
- Follow up on certain legal matters with branches such as proxies and lists of authorized signatories.
- Assist the Marketing department, around the year, in certain projects such as the annual report, market surveys, in addition to media & press releases.
- Participated as administrator in preparing a users’ manual for the IT system for certain departmental functions.
- Manage the entry of returned merchandise and goods into the system.
- Manage in coordination with the supply chain department the arrival of merchandise and goods in accordance to the needs and remaining stock.
- Coordinate with the consignee on the arrival of shipments / containers to the port and later on to the warehouse premises.
- Supervise the disposal of damaged or expired merchandise and responsible for the removal of same from the system inventory / stock.
- In charge of performing spot checks on certain products in case of disparity between systematic figures and physical count.
