Duties and Responsibilities
•Inspection of field Instrument installation, cable continuity check & IR test report preparation &Elect. energization package with all motor Solo run test report.
•Inspection of Instrument cable& conduit Installation &Electrical Energization package and final inspection with SAPID
•Inspection of cable trays, conduit, marshalling cabinet, interface cabinet, control desk and low voltage distribution system, Elect & inst ear thing & grounding cable checking, lighting work inspection. Pre loop& loop check all Pre Commissioning & Commissioning inspection activities of (E & I )
•All activities during the construction & commissioning of control cable megering and measuring earth resistance test. Ensuring all instrumentation & electrical were installed and tested as per project quality procedure and project specification and preparation of ITP forms for instrument installation inspection.
•Conduct all instrument & electrical inspection as per Approved ITP.
•Prepare non-conformance with the customer’s representative to ensure good quality.
•Mechanical completion acceptance from construction and responsible for recording and clearing all instrumentation & electrical punch list and documentation.
•Ensure that inspection are performed in a timely manner and recorded as per specification and standard detail drawing ITP’s and QCP’s.
•Witness release forms. of loop checking, process loop check, instrument loop wiring continuity, instrument loop folder
• Issuing non-conformance report (NCR) for the discrepancies of works.
•Receive the construction RFI and determine construction works status I & E check installation conformity to project specification.
•Prepare RFI to client for joint inspection of completed work.
•Witnessing on Cables test such as Meggering & continuity, (INSTRUMENT & ELECTRICAL CABLES) Inspection of marshalling cabinet prior to cable terminations.
•Coordinate with construction personnel about on-going inspection issues.
•Regular reporting to QA/QC Engineer & Manager, on any major issues which require immediate action.
•To main console monitoring system, functional testing of all instruments and loops, including Fire & gas and Telecom(PA/GA), electronics analog and digital signals & Emergency shut-down (ESD) system.
•Also aware of safety rule & regulations, conducted weekly safety auditing & reported, participated weekly safety Tool Box/ meetings Monitor daily discipline activities and verifies compliance to project procedures specifications.
•A routine surveillance inspection of field Instrumentation & electrical installation.
•Visual inspection of construction installation.
•Specification check of all mounted instrument
•Ensure proper implementation of ISO 9001.QC inspection for instrumentation/electrical system as per quality control procedure, inspection test plan and project specification.
•Preparation of loop folders prior to loop checking. Regular surveillance/inspection of construction activities as per project inspection and test Plan. Store and maintain all quality records.
•Maintain QA&QC feedback record to evaluate the project performance.
•Ensure that all relevant codes and specifications are applied at Project and only current documents are in use, in accordance with Master Lists of Documents.
•Coordination with other departments for smooth inspection activities at site.
•Provide assistance to Procurement for technical evaluation of subcontractors/suppliers as per laid down policies/instructions in the light of assigned responsibilities.
•Working as per Method Statements, Inspection Test Plans and approved Specifications, Relative Codes & International Standards.
•Closing all punch lists prior to test & Mechanical Completion.
