Responsible for overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT Projects. This includes directing all IT operations to meet business requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing infrastructure, applications, and development of new technical solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Provide leadership, vision, and management to the IT department.
- Work with the Brand Managers, and staff to assess and respond to IT needs.
- Manage an IT staff of three people
- Hold departmental meetings to review strategic goals and initiatives, promote team building and work to provide growth paths for staff.
- Provide day-to-day supervision, conduct performance appraisals, and delegate work assignments for all IT personnel.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and providing appropriate training for IT support staff.
- Serve on planning and policy-making committees.
- Oversee the development, design, and implementation of new applications and changes to existing computer systems and software packages.
- Responsible for the ordering, acquisition, inventorying, and disposition of hardware and software.
- Maintain the integrity and continual operation of the IT network including the wireless networks.
- Develop, review, and certify all back-up and disaster recovery procedures and plans.
Azadea Group is one of the biggest Retail Companies in Jordan, we own 21 Brand and 35 Stores in Amman, I’ve been with Azadea Since 5 Years and currently i’m Managing
the IT Department (Infrastructer and Networking Telecomunincation ) including (Feild Support/Infrastructer) units, ensuring 24/7 Support to our stores and back office users
Regional Depts, and Suppliers, Implementing Projects Enrolled by the Regional Office located at lebanon or Locally, Reporting to our Operations Manager and the Group IT Director.
Also I’m Resposiable for the IT Dept Purchases, budgeting, Applying tasks to the Feild Support unit, Planing New Projects and All issues that Fall under the Scope of IT.
Techincal Responisablites :
- Installing, Configuering and Managing Servers ( Windows Servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, ISA, Exchange Servers, Hyper-V and VMware ESX Servers )
- Installing, Configuering Network Devices and Firewalls “ Configuring Site to Site VPN Connection between our Sites and make sure the Network is secure ”
. Installing and Configeruing Cisco Voice Gateways ( VOIP ) and Cisco Phones, make sure that the Connection is Relaible between the phones acros the sites.
. Configuering ASA Routers, PIX and Fortinet Firewalls.
. Installing and Managing SQL Servers.
. Backup and Restore the Servers and Employees Files using “ Symantec Backup Exec ”
. Set a Disaster Receover Plan.
. Auditing Backup for 7 Branches across the Glob as we host the Disaster Receovery Site at Jordan ( KSA, LEB, OMAN, QTR, BAH, UAE and Amman ) to make sure that the Backup is Reliable
and Ready for Restore whenever Needed.
