coordinating of all shutdown Mechanical activities which include maintenance, inspection and testing of plant.
Work pack preparation for shutdown jobs as per the job list, which includes all the technical information & requirements for executing shutdown activities.
Preparing JSA for all the shutdown jobs in accordance with Q-chem Safety policies & procedures.
Provide technical support & services for maintenance of the Rotating/Static equipments associated with NAO Plant, includes installation, Overhulling, repairs and testing of Plant Equipments.
Provide Operations with engineering support to troubleshooting all Mechanical equipment problems, detailed analysis and recommendation to the problems.
Planning & Execution of Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Start-up and Test Run activities for Aviation Fuel Terminal Project
Lead execution of all site Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Start-up activities
Prepare, get approved and compile all documentation related to site execution of Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Start-up activities
Site supervision of installation, testing and commissioning works at site, monitoring and surveillance of compliance to quality standards, specifications.
Manage all Mechanical Maintenance activities in accordance with agreed Code of Practice and Procedures ensuring technical integrity and HSE targets are met in a professional and cost effective manner.
Executing plans & schedules for maintenance operations with focus on optimum utilisation of manpower and material. Coordinating troubleshooting & breakdown/ preventive/ predictive/ shutdown maintenance for curbing downtime to a minimum level.
Maintenance of all station palnt equipments Beam pumps, Esp, PCP, rotary pumps, Compressors, gearboxes, hvac and static equipments (Heat exchanger, columns, CPI separators, vessels, Tanks etc), RV's, pvvs etc.
Provide solutions to address maintenance shortcomings and ensure the effective coordination and functioning of maintenance discipline teams.
Involved in all management review meetings, regular planning meetings, Teleconference and Net meetings with Client, Planned shutdown meetings and Management thereof. Management of Sub Contractors & external parties.
conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and non-scheduled shutdowns and recommend problem resolutions.
Trouble shoot/adapt competency in the discipline being prepared.
Lead the Mechanical department and reporting to Chief Manager.
Competent in the use of SAP, materials ordering process, services ordering process, materials masters, information/drawing systems
Supervises and directs the execution of planned and breakdown maintenance and repairs of all mechanical plant and equipment in assigned field.
Retrieves monthly maintenance plans from 3Ms; sets weekly schedule and prepares daily activities. Sets priorities and endorses Hot and/or Cold work permit in conjunction with operations. Ensures availability of adequate manpower, materials, spares, tools, lifting tackle and equipment guided by standard procedures. Provides technical direction to subordinates on fault finding diagnoses and repairs. Inspects work progress/completed work through site visits and/or review of work records to ensure proper and timely execution. Adjust work schedules to accommodate urgently required work and follows up receipt of work orders upon completion of repairs procedures. Mechanical failures are minimized resulting in high availability of plant and equipment.
Optimum level of maintenance stock materials and spares. Minimal stock write offs.Investigates and troubleshoots maintenance problems. Implements fault-finding routines and procedures, diagnoses problems and takes appropriate action including devising and implementing solutions, referring to other disciplines, recommending external expert assistance, and preparing reports, as necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities of Equipment Installation.
Report to supervise project maintenance department during detailed engineering construction and commissioning start-up phases.
Check experience qualification for major equipment as defined in specifications.

Review P &ID drawing for safe and operable equipment features.
