I was awarded appreciation certificate while leaving Hospital
Inpatient Pharmacy,
I help to fill the prescription orders written by physicians in a hospital. I verify orders, count out the correct number of capsules or tablets, and label completed orders. This was supervised by our pharmacist and provide final approval for all orders filled by me.
I performed a variety of clerical duties. I answer the telephone and provide customer service to physicians, nurses and other hospital staff members. After filling a prescription, I enters the medication information in a patient's hospital chart. I also had to fill out requisition forms or complete other paperwork as needed.

Outdoor Patient Pharmacy:

I was preparing medicines according to Physicians prescriptions under the supervision of Pharmacist, if any error found I immediately contact to physician to finish that medical error. I always keep record of medical error and keep in the file so that same should not be repeated later. I have seen during my job that most of the Physicians miss the ICD 9 codes and not writing condition according to the medicines. Missing the code mean the rejection of medicines claims from insurance companies. I always request them to write proper ICD 9 codes. I was also working in the place of insurance coordinator in his absence or during his vacations. I was helping seniors staff in purchasing the moving medicines and to keep eye on expiry of medicines receiving from medicines companies. I was also active member of annual inventory team.
The best management and best system of that company I cannot forget
