Responsibilities:

• To Support and Manage a team of Site Engineers, Supervisors, Technicians and Helpers ensuring the implementation of the technical specifications and the drawings as well as QCS 2014.
• Responsible for all the activities on the Project related to all GRC, GFRC & curtain wall & glazing works.
• Supporting Design & structural team for finalizing the Shop Drawings and reviewing the drawings in line with Installation at Site.
• Review of Material Submissions, Method Statements, ITP, Shop Drawings (review) as per Project Specifications and QCS, 2014.
• Preparing Material Estimates, Project Schedules, and Reports.
• Reviewing Structural Calculations & ensuring its implementation at Site to maintain the Quality and compatibility of the Façade Systems.
• Raising technical queries (RFIs) after reviewing the design & site conditions if any.
• Ensuring proper arrangement and procurement of materials as per approved submittals and dealing with suppliers to avoid delays.
• Raising material/ work inspections and attending them to ensure approvals.
• Reporting back to the General Manager & Operations Manager for project related daily reports & site issues.
• Attending weekly/ Monthly progress meetings with Main Contractors, Consultants & Clients to ensure proper progress as per project requirement.
• Providing the necessary clearance for the inspection requests of other disciplines.
• Monitoring the compliance of the project to ensure the specifications, method statements and practices are adhered to, Quality policies are followed, and performance standards are met.

Core Responsibilities :
 Supervision of Façade Installation Works (Unitized Curtain wall, ACP Installation, Marble, Terracotta, Roof works), Steel Fabrication and Erection at site, Internal glazing, Waterproofing & ensure compliance with Project Specifications, approved drawings & material transmittals and IFC.
 Arranging Equipment i.e., Mobile Cranes, Cherry Pickers, Man lifts, Scaffoldings and tools for Installation works in coordination with different sub-contractors.
 Planning, Coordination & distribution of work at site in order to prevent wastage of time or repetition of installation works.
 To ensure that all relevant technical information is available to the core installation team at a zero-defect level in order to avoid re-works and maintaining the Quality of work and is as per applicable American or British Standards i.e., BS, ANSI, ISO.
 Advise the Top Management staff of any technical or engineering changes that could warrant a variation or reduce cost.
 Liaise with all HSE (safety) procedures and supervise, manage, survey, plan in order to abide by it.
 Follow up Inspection Requests for installation works & Material Inspection Requests.
 Audit Subcontractors (Internal Audits) and Handle (External) 3rd Party Audits, i.e., ISO Audits, QMS.
 Review Method Statements, Risk Assessments for Installation works & ensure its implementation.
 Review & Support for Material Submittals for all the items to be used at site and its timely submissions.
 To ensure that all relevant technical information is available to the façade sub-contractors in order to maintain the Quality of works along with progress.
 Liaise with supervision, management, surveying, planning, safety, quality, and commercial teams and provide them with information as required.
 Read understand & Explain construction and other drawings i.e., Shop Drawings or IFC (Issued for Construction) and project specifications in order to avoid rejections.
 To raise technical queries where information conflict exists or is missing, and act on responses.
 Attending Site progress meetings, Planning as well as QA-QC meetings with consultants and clients

Job Description:
 To prepare RFIT’s & MDS, Method Statements, Material Submittals and most of the documents related to sites.
 Attending the Site inspections related to material or installation at site and explain in order to get approvals from the consultant or the clients.
 To target and assist in the delivery of engineering excellence in safety at assigned site.
 Planning and distribution of work at site in order to prevent wastage of time or repetition of work.
 Responsible for preparing Material Transmittal, Method Statement and following up their approval.
 Replying to the OCS comments of the MT, MS or SD’s.
 Motivating the site team in order to complete the work as per the planning and avoiding any delay.
 To ensure that all relevant technical information is available to the construction team at a zero defect level in order to avoid re-works and maintaining the Quality of work.
 Advise the Top Management staff of any technical or engineering changes that could warrant a variation or cost change.
 Liaise with supervision, management, surveying, planning, safety, quality and commercial teams and provide them with information as required.
 Read understand & Explain construction and other drawings i.e. Shop Drawings or IFC and project specifications in order to avoid wrong installation at site.
 To raise technical queries where information conflict exists or is missing, and act on responses.
 Help create a site culture of best practice regarding safety, housekeeping, workmanship and waste management.
 Assist supervisors and managers to allocate correct resource to activities and to review and report on the same.
 Provide all necessary information to the site team in a timely manner.
 Support the survey team and provide assistance as necessary.
 Produce or assist in producing Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans, and Risk Assessments and to ensure compliance of the same.

• Handling and following-up of orders
• Handling of Shipments.
• Inspection of good received for the company warehouse
• Warehouse keeping of machineries and equipments.
• Stock checking from time to time.
