Current Roles & Responsibilities
 Responsible for managing total EHS at General Electric (GE) facilities in MENAT Region (Middle East North Africa & Turkey). (35 offices & facilities including GE aviation work shop, GE health care lab, GE Power workshop)
 Developing and delivering a health, safety, and environmental risk management strategy that enables the JLL IFM business, and the client, to comply with statutory requirements in its operations.
 Developing and implementing a program for the audit, measurement and reporting of health and safety performance against agreed standards. Ensuring JLL achieved client EHS KPI.
 Developing, maintaining and communicating safety related procedures, as well as ensuring that they are implemented
 Leading and conduction training around a variety of topics including behavioral-based safety, hazard recognition, safety compliance and other educational topics.
 Developing HSE budget and assured expenditures did not exceed the limit
 Managing JLL IFM EHS Digital Tools (AIMS and MyDevelopment) and client EHS Digital Tools (Gensuite and GELearning)
 Leading investigations into specific incidents or accidents with a health, safety & environmental consequence and ensure appropriate records are maintained. Ensure Lesson learned communicated and implemented to other facilities in the region.
 Conducting pre-occupancy inspection for new offices and facilities to ensure facility is complying with local regulation & GE office life safety standards. Recommending the action need and approving if requirements meet. Leading MOC process, if there is any change in existing offices and facilities.
 Ensuring Fire Emergency drill and Medical Emergency drill conducted all facilities in the region periodically, involved government authority if possible during Emergency drills.
 Managing contractor safety Program. Approving contractors after reviewing Pre-qualification and pre-job meeting. And set KPI for contractors to evaluate their EHS performance.
 Review, revise and provide guidelines to develop SRA’s and SSOW.
 Review and provide guidelines to develop Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and Business continuity plan (BCP) for all facilities.
 Maintain expert knowledge of existing and proposed regulations.
 Reviewing EHS Performance metrics with client and JLL Operation Managers.
 Conducting office ERGO evaluation for staff, helping to setup workstation ergonomically.
 Providing EHS support to GE Aviation and GE Health Care

Achievement:
 Achieved the HSE KPI set by client (GE).
 Achieved 100% closure rate of action items against various audit & inspections within given time frame.
 Achieved Zero lost time injury and reduced first aid cases by 70% within 3 years.
 Conducted more than 100 Office Ergonomics assessment and conducted awareness training which resulted reduction of Ergonomic concern by 90%.
 Developed EHS onboarding program and replaced existing Onboarding tools which saved client cost.
 Achieved 95% of EHS objectives & Target set by JLL corporate EHS for my account.
 Initiated HSE recognition program

 Responsible for managing total EHS at commercial facilities and residential buildings in Doha.
 Promoting a safe work environment by developing and maintaining safety programs that comply with all applicable regulatory requirement and aligned with client EHS Policy and program.
 Developing, maintaining and communicating safety related policies and procedures, as well as ensuring that they are implemented
 Conduct training around a variety of topics including behavioral-based safety, hazard recognition, safety compliance and other educational topics. Organizing third party training (First Aid, Fire Marshal, forklift operator, crane operator and scissor lift operator) and third-party certifications for lifting tools, lifting equipment etc)
 Developing & Managing Emergency Evacuation plan and Business continuity plan.
 Providing safety orientation for new employees and reoccurring training for existing employees.
 Conducting Fire Emergency drill and Medical Emergency drill. Involved government authority during Emergency drills.
 Conducting monthly EHS inspection and EHS Audit as per developed program. Support sites during audits from client and corporate EHS team, as well as by outside agencies like civil defense and OHSAS18001 auditor.
 Supported FM’s goals of achieving IS014001 & OHSAS18001 Standards

 Responsible for waste management, include hazardous waste and Wastewater disposal.

 Leads in investigations into near misses, property damage, injuries, occupational illness and spills/loss of containment, ensuring that database records of such incident are maintained, and lesson learned communicated to all employees.

 Lead the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) program and initiates and influences integration of EHS policies and practices into the business

 Organizing EHS Meeting with Engineers, Supervisors and safety officers, discussing EHS issues and providing EHS guidelines.
 Investigate all incidents and accidents to initially make the area safe and then to determine cause. -
Maintain orderly files of safety reports, correspondence and documents in accordance with DMC.
 Administer and monitor a Code of Safe Handling of Hazardous substance and maintain product data sheets on file
 Co-ordinate and monitor the "Permit to Work" system (Hot work/confined space/inside lift shaft)
