focal point for the following BRFP (Brown Field Projects)
• Zakum is the Second largest Offshore Oil Field and First largest Oil Field in the World. As Civil
focal point, representing ZADCO for various Zirku Island onshore Projects, Satah / UAD / Arzanah
Island and Artificial Islands Projects.
• New Reclaimed Land at Zirku Island Shore Protection & Stacking of OCTGs. (S-1480):
During the initial phase of SARB Project, identification of synergies and integration between
ZADCO and ADMA-OPCO on Zirku Island, utilizing SARB plant generated surplus soil material by
reclaiming west side of Zirku Jetty Causeway, resulted in gaining of 285, sq.m plateau. The
reclaimed area will be utilized on permanent basis.
The North-East side of reclaimed shore line is being affected with soil erosion due to strong sea
wave action & storm.
Engineering Study and Engineering Design Package for North-East Shore Line Protection is under
preparation for providing immediate resolution to ensure the integrity of the reclaimed area.
Study for Shifting OCTGs of ADMA-OPCO from Agility Base, Musaffah and stacking on Zirku
Reclaimed Area is also under study.
• Arzanah Jetty Structure Repair (S-1478):
Arzanah Jetty approximately 220m long, 32m width with Steel Sheet Piles Quay wall, fitted with
30 tons of Mooring Bollard, Rubber Fenders, Steel Ladders is in severely deteriorated state.
The current condition poses a serious threat to site personnel and mariners utilizing Jetty on
daily basis.
The current status is alarming where deteriorating rate has rapidly increased with exposed
corroded Steel Sheet Piles. Concrete capping beam is severely damaged, bollards are uprooted /
damaged and found to be of under capacity of pull and need to be upgraded for 50 tons
capacity for big vessels berthing.

In view of the above situation immediately Engineering Study for integrity assessment, SOW for
rehabilitation of existing Jetty and preparation of Engineering Design Package is under fast track
progress.

Activities involved:
Focal point for coordination between Field Development, revised requirements from corporate
planning, operations requirement, review all the FEED / Detailed Engineering deliverables and
advise the PMC, Contractor teams, acted as focal point between site operations and projects,
Approved / Rejected Technical queries, Site Change Requests, Deviations, Design Change
Requests from Contractors after a thorough technical review and analysis.
