local factories. As we constantly strive to improve this ratio and support manufacturers to
increasing foreign competition.
Saudi Electricity Company has been working continuously to increase their local content value
and support the manufacturers to increase competition with foreign factories. At the beginning
of 2013 SEC formed a specialized team to study the localization in SEC and create strategic
plane to the improve local content and to attract more manufacturers and investors to build
their factories in

Involved in making multiple new Substations at different locations through the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
* High Voltage Sub stations installations, testing, commissioning, maintenance of 132 KV,
33KV & 13.8 KV Substations,
* Troubleshooting for different Sub stations including the Switch gears, ATS / MDB/
MCC/ Control panels, Transformers/ Generators etc.
* Upgrading Transformers from 10 MVA to 20 MVA, 20 MVA to 50 MVA,
* Modifications / upgrading with the Extension’s in 132 KV/ 33 KV/13.8KV Switch gears.
* Aiding along with new 20MVA & 50 MVA Transformers in the Central Region,
* Various upgrading of permanent & mobile Substations: 132 KV / 33KV & 13.8 KV : As
8000 and 7000 Series at various locations like Riyadh
