• Legal advisory and compliance: Provide legal advice to senior management on all
organisational matters including contracts, regulatory compliance, tenders, and dispute
resolution within Qatars most regulated governmental framework; ensure compliance with
Qatar Civil Code No. 22/2004, Tenders & Auctions Law No. 24/2015, Arbitration Law No.
2/2017, and Circular No. 3/2022.
• Tenders and contract management: Draft, review, and negotiate complex FIDIC-based
EPC contracts, procurement agreements, and service agreements ensuring full compliance
with KAHRAMAA GCOC, Qatar Tenders Law, and public-sector governance requirements;
review liquidated damages provisions under Article 266, time-bar clauses, force majeure,
termination, and step-in rights.
• Arbitration and dispute resolution: Advise on claims and disputes; manage arbitration
proceedings; ensure contracts restrict arbitration to QICCA only under Arbitration Law No.
2/2017; liaise with external counsel on contentious matters.
• Government and regulatory liaison: Liaise with Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Foreign
Affairs, Qatar Chamber, and regulatory authorities; draft formal legal correspondence and
official responses; manage attestation and approval processes.
• Energy sector engagements: Participated in legal review of PPA documentation for the
Dukhan Power Plant and Bulk Supply Agreement Amendment with QatarEnergy LNG for the
Common Jetty Boil-Off Gas Recovery Facilities Project.

• General Counsel function QSE entity: Led and managed the complete legal function
for a publicly listed Qatari holding company; reported directly to CEO; collaborated with CXO
community; completed 100+ legal assignments within the first five months — all to
completion. Served as the most senior legal officer for the Company and all its subsidiaries.
• Arbitration, litigation and dispute resolution: Managed the full litigation and dispute
portfolio; represented the Company in Qatari courts and before the Public Prosecution;
instructed and supervised external counsel; managed FIDIC arbitration; maintained zero
adverse unremedied judgments throughout tenure.
• Tenders and contracts: Reviewed, drafted, and negotiated a high-volume portfolio of
commercial agreements including FIDIC contracts, NDAs, supply agreements, procurement
contracts, service agreements, and MoU instruments across Qatar and international
markets.
• QSE corporate governance and QFMA compliance: Managed all board and shareholder
resolutions; attested BOD resolutions at Qatar Chamber, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and
foreign embassies; amended Trading Controls for Insiders Policy in compliance with new
QFMA regulations; managed authorised signatory amendments and CR renewals through
MOCI.
• Subsidiary and holding company law: Provided legal oversight for all Baladna
subsidiaries including BFI, BTI, and E-Life; managed corporate records, trade licences, and
statutory compliance across the Group.
• International operations: Led legal documentation for Algeria investment portfolio
including QFC registration, government MoUs, logistics arrangements, and trademark
renewal; coordinated legal matters in Romania and Indonesia.

• Senior legal advisory QSE Managed a team of legal professionals;
provided strategic legal advice to senior leadership on contract law, corporate governance,
and regulatory compliance across a multi-business listed conglomerate; ensured compliance
with Qatars auction and tender laws.
• Contract management — USD 20M+: Led ELV and security systems project agreements
exceeding USD 20M; drafted, reviewed, and negotiated technology contracts, service level
agreements, and procurement documents; reduced approval time by 25% through
