Creating a software package at Tanium Production and deploying it in accordance with client needs.
• Deploying the monthly Microsoft patch to every user's designated machine.
• Analyzing and planning to implement freeware and license software automation via self-service client (Tanium).
• Deployment of Applications and Software Updates.
• Addressing Tier-2 escalations from first line support teams for Windows, Tanium, macOS etc.
• In depth troubleshooting, data analysis and problem solving to provide solutions applied at individual and macro audiences to
avoid repeated issues.
• Developing Tanium Scripts to be made available in Self-Service Client on end user devices for repeated issues.
• Working on vulnerability management.
• Any program that discovers a vulnerability based on the QIDs found in Qualys must investigate the problem in a test
environment, build a package, and then deliver it to affected workstations.
• Creating a package based on the application's current version that is delivered to machines that have been found to contain
vulnerabilities by vulnerability assessment tools like Qualys.
• Creating a 3rd party application bundle and it will be ongoing deployment for all the users and the applications like: Google
chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Thunderbird, Adobe reader, 7-Zip, Notepad ++ and Visual studio code.
• Everyday checking the 3rd party application in Tanium Gallery if any new version released adding to the ongoing deployment.
• Reviewing system error logs and user-reported errors.
Fixing security vulnerabilities and compliance issues on Windows & Mac devices
• Tracking the Windows Update for Business Issue which reported to stay up to date with the latest security definition or patches.
• Tracking and managing End of Life OS for Windows & macOS to stay 100% compliance.
• Any Windows OS build version released testing in test environment before creating and deploying to the users’ machines. The
package will be deployed to the pilot computers after the new OS build has been successfully updated in a test environment
before being used in a live environment.
• Document all support activity within the IT Incident and Change Management tracking tool.
• Ensure standard operating procedures and known error logs are kept up to date.
• Support and monitoring of critical systems and services.
• Supporting MS Windows environment & application support.
• Managing Microsoft Active Directory Console and working with IDM Team to deploy, configuring, and managing GPOs.
• Participate in monthly/quarterly Inventory Audits
• Managing the Remedy ticketing tool and working on request based upon SLA Basis.
• Assigning Tickets as per SLA and watching Dashboard to prevent avoid SLA breaches.
• Reporting & Documentation of Daily Activities
• Maintaining COP/SOP documents and updating them when required.
• Creating Packages for Operating System Deployment
