Project management and business analyst as quality custodian for operations, TAM and IT
Give direction to all execution day to day activities and assure operations in field performed in according to safety standards, coach and give direction to direct reports (shift managers and Gate manager) to raise and maintain performance level and improve that to global operations standards.
To ensure overall compliance to ISO 9001:2008 standards, continuous improvement of operational processes and their documentation and for development, maintenance and improvements to the Quality Management System. Adding to that acting as the Management Representative (MR) & responsible for proper and effective documentation of all operational processes as per ISO Quality Management System requirements.
Monitor execution of operational processes v/s stipulated procedure or other documentation and ensure there is no variance.
Managed a team of superintendent to achieve our daily planned tasks
Responsible of overall safety during my shift
Lead and provide guidance when needed in operational tasks such as vessel, yard and warehouse operations
Responsible and in charge of all vessel operation container and general cargo vessels, starting from allocating the berth, resources and approving the vessel working plan, managing the operation on site, coordinating with vessel agents, all the way up to the time the vessel sails.
As a waterside manager I manage all staff working for the waterside, but having only four direct reports of a level of superintendents
Responsible of the transition method for all operation departments, however focused on General Cargo Department transition.
Was a leader of the team, and the contact point between the Transition manager and the transition team.
During that time different task were dedicated to the team, which we had to achieve.
Responsible of determining the manpower needed to work on shifts that cover 24/7 operation with consideration of sick leave and training requirements.
Controlling annual leaves
Providing an internal rotation for every equipment
Updating overtime in the HR system ( Mena pay)
Translating documents when needed
Coordinate with HRD/OPS when a training is in place, to provide employees
Planning and executing international flights, worked very closely with most of the international carries, such as KLM and British airways.
