Static equipment design for FEED and detail engineering projects including pressure vessels, storage tanks, strainers, injection packages and fire tube boilers.
Pressure vessel design in accordance with ASME Section VIII Div. 1 using COMPRESS software for Oil and Gas and Petrochemical industries.
Preparation of data sheets, technical specifications, equipment lists, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, scope of works and review of vendor drawings.
Compliance with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, API 650, API 653, Saudi Aramco Standards and Specifications, Shell DEP Standards, and SABIC standards.
Involved in administration tasks including standardization of work process, discipline man-hour estimation and training coordination.
Senior Design: Human Powered Vehicle, November 2010 – August 2011 Team Leader, Team of 4 Students. 3rd place in the Honda 2011 iDream Student Challenge. Design of frame, steering geometry, steering knuckles, and steering arms. Modeled a 3D assembly of the complete vehicle in Solidworks and performed FE Analysis on parts. Modeled design in a physics engine, to test different Centers of gravity. Supervised and took part in fabrication of all parts and the overall assembly of vehicle.
