- Extract strategy elements from the PIC and Olefins SBU strategies relevant for the JV strategy development
- Develop and support performance measurement processes to monitor implementation of Olefins SBU strategic plans and initiatives, through Identify KPI, targets, and accountabilities needed to conduct JV performance review
- Establish annual, quarterly, monthly performance reviews and monitor the performance against set of approved metrics and associated targets - Update BSC highlighting performance challenges and required actions
- Participate in the preparation of pre-board quarterly meetings with company representatives on JV board
- Involve other PIC functions in the JV performance review process as required
- Review, analyze and evaluate department’s performance compared with performance evaluation criteria.
- Apply Olefin Projects capital tracking procedure and reporting the performance against approved project base metrics
- Represent company in committees, team works and negotiations related to strategic and operational plans of SBU (Olefins),
- Enhance department process improvement through applying six sigma methodologies.
- Focal Point and representative of department in enterprise risk management process (risk identification, qualitative, quantitative and response plan).

For the expansion of PIC business, PIC shared the investment in constructing a new Olefins complex in Kuwait, which is a gross root integrated world-class operating complex, lowest long term cost of ownership, highly reliable for olefins & derivatives and consisting of EU2 unit (850 KMT), EG2 unit (600 KMT), EBSM unit (450 KMT), LPK (300KMT) and Sea Water Cooling Tower (90 K MPH) including its infrastructure and Utility.

- Led, Coordinate and communicate the key performance indicators and Balance Score Card updates
- Actively contribute ITB preparation including the special and general condition.
- Interacting key personnel for developing projects WBS, WBS packages and contractual project master schedules
- Coordinate the issuance of ITB documents and participate in offers evaluation and pretenders meetings
- Active participations in EPC contract administration activities and LLE PO.
- Review, comment / approve EPC contractor procedures of project scheduling & progress measurement
- Review, analysis and auditing contractor’s performance and updated schedule.
- Verify contractor’s progress and perform site auditing as needed.
