- At my current role : I'm playing the below roles at the same time:
- Business development by developing the business processes and daily work to be automated by reprocessing and reengineering the current workflows to save headcount, cost and time.
- Business analyst by analyzing the business needs which will improves their daily work and make it more effective and efficient.
- Project manager by providing the requirements to the IT and make sure to deliver the required project on time with all the testing in the pilot period.
- Data scientist by providing the Management and the departments the required data, report and dashboards that they need with automating there requirements to be easier for delivering each time.
- Provides adequate Management Information / Data
Reports spanning across Private Banking functions
(including key business metrics for Relationship
Managers, business targets, Marketing and IT) thereby
providing periodic business updates to top management
and client support to Relationship Managers
to enable them handle client relationships effectively and
Achieve the desired business objectives.
1-Supporting the analytical requirement of Bank Operations.
2-Manage the preparation of the Super-Performance targets (Incentive Targets) for the PB areas as well as
Relationship Managers in liaison with Head of OPS and Regional Heads
3-Monitoring OPS profitability performance against targets and communicating the inconsistencies
1-Ensuring that the monthly Super-Performance reports
as required by Senior Management are accurate and issued on time
2-To provide the Relationship Managers with accurate CPRs, CPLs to improve the productivity and profitability
3-Achieve all external returns and deadlines
4-Prepare analysis for the monthly and quarterly Sr.
Manager's Business Review Meetings Operational Effectiveness and Control
1-Providing adequate support in preparation of the Annual Operating Plan for Private Banking Business
2-Analyzing the data gathered through various MI
reports with a purpose of enhancing operational
efficiency of the OPS department To ensure that accurate and timely reports have been provided to the OPS as well as SABB Senior
Management, for performance review and decision Making. Obtaining daily reports on time in order to review and prepare a consolidated report for Head of OPS to be presented to the Senior Managers'.
- Worked on the Data Management Programme as Project Manager to lead the Project and Prepare the Project plan, Term Of Reference, Data Owner, TOR Data Management Programme Steering committee, DMP Data Strategy and business case, Developing Programs on SAS & Tableau to Implement, Deploy and automate the Departments MI Reports including OPS application life Cycle, Staff Performance, Chargeback MI and Merchant Reports and MI reports in General.
- Managing, Providing and reviewing Operations Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
- Managing, Providing and reviewing Operations Headcount & Resourcing as well.
- Managing, Providing and reviewing the Monthly Midterm Outlook.
- Managing, Providing and reviewing Chief Operating Officer BSC.
- Managing, Providing and reviewing Chief Operating Officer Dashboard.
- Managing, Providing and reviewing Chief Operating Officer Area Structure.
- Managing, Providing and reviewing any Presentation requested by the COO.
- Managing, Providing and reviewing CRAO Dashboard.
- Reviewing and taking action on Operations HMI provided by the Finance.

DATA CENTER OPERATION OFFICER في SABB BANK

Working at SABB Head Office, IT Operation Department, Data center
As : DATA CENTER Operation Officer since 1/9/2012 to Present time

Duties & Responsibilities:

Systems Operations (HUB)
- Using PowerPC AS/400 (IBM) Model M830 for HUB Banking operations.
- Maintain system parameters for daily Kingdom wide operations.
- To ensure that all required items (files, stationery, day's backup cycle, etc.) are available for starting the day's work.
- To maintain registers ONLINE/OFFLINE log sheets and various statistics of operations.
- To execute daily ONLINE job options and make sure the relevant ONLINE reports are printed in area offices/branches and various departments.
- To print and keep ready the extra reports daily/monthly for various departments and ensure their dispatch through Correspondence Dept. on time.
- Print history log and keep ready for Systems Security Officer and Manager EDP Operations daily in the morning.
- To put the branches ONLINE and inform shift-in-charge in case of any difficulty in giving any branch ONLINE.
- To assist the branches in case of any difficulty while performing the end day/start of day functions and other terminal malfunctions.
- Assist branches/users with system failures like start/end of day procedures, posting problems, printing problems, etc.
- Run various operations like cards embossing (SPAN/VISA/MASTERCARD/JCB/HHA MOUAWAD), cheque books processing, SPAN/POS posting, billing, esisline (Shares monitoring), Esisnet (Shares trading), SAMA's SARIE system operations, ATM monitoring/statistical procedures, MasterCard/VISA processing (Incoming & Outgoing), Telephone Banking System, Hexagon (Electronic Funs Transfer) system, etc.
- Perform various end-of-day procedures and then run an offline batch run to update the day's position.
- Monitor the offline batch run during the night hours and ensure proper distribution of reports Kingdom wide without any delay.
- Coordinate with Programmers in case of any software problems.
- Coordinate with SBM (IBM) engineer in case of system problem.
- Coordinate with Communications staff in case of communication failure.
- Perform various housekeeping tasks.
- Perform various periodical system/non-system backups.
- Restore old backups for special reports retrieval.
- Running procedures for Archiving/Microfiching various reports/statements through opticals and then retrieving them upon requests using RDARS system.

Stratus Continuum (ATM System)
- Monitoring all Kingdom wide ATM operations.
- Running the Start of Day procedures.
- Extracting thrice a day all the ATM and point-of-sale transactions Kingdom wide and then posting and updating the main system (AS/400) with the latest position and then refreshing Continuum system with the latest balances.
- Coordinating with the Network Communications supervisors to ensure ATMs are operational all the time.
- Performing various housekeeping tasks periodically.
- Performing various periodic systems/non-systems backups.
- Extracting various daily/weekly/monthly statistical reports.

Data Centre/Backup Administrator Tasks:
- Maintain a proper control over the backup tapes - database/systems (daily, weekly, monthly and half-yearly), ensure and update inventory to meet the audit requirements.
- Keep track of stationery control, prepares monthly stationery inventory to monitor the consumption every month and initiate an order from the vendors.
- Keep the daily online/offline logs updated.
- To assist EDP in TSV monthly/half-yearly report preparation.
- Updates IT Operations Guide. I was involved in the preparation/introduction of this guide until it was completed. This guide contains 24 hours cycle of procedures/tasks being used as reference guide by Data Centre operators.
