Tasks:


• Review & work on the contract’s VDL, SVL, PROJECT Schedule, Quality Manual, Inspection & Test Plans, QC-WPS, P&ID, PFD, Equipment Layout, Equipment List, Valve List, Design Calculation, Cause & Effect Diagram, Material Selection Diagram, Overall Piping Layout, General Arrangements, Fabrication Details, Motor Ga Drawing, Data Sheet & Drawings, and Overall Civil Outline.
• Review the project design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
• Prepare the cost sheet (CAF) for each project.
• Assist with the validation of technical decisions made within the project.
• Ensure compliance with the quality & project requirements.
• Initiate and follow procurement activities, to ensure all required materials and components are received on time.
• Prepare and provide monthly/regular progress reports internally to the Operations Manager.
• Prepare and provide regular project progress reports/updates to customers.
• Prepare technical control and coordination of work (design, procurement, assembly, testing, shipping & project close out).
• Ensure effective communications with the various stakeholders internal and external.
• Assist with the issuance of the required fabrication orders to the factory, and to ensure they are receiving the latest revisions from all related drawings and documents, and to monitor the fabrication progress to be as per the project schedule.
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.

Al-Meer’s scope is to provide technical services including supply of specialized manpower, labor, tools, equipment and materials required to complete turnaround and Inspection (T&I) and Repair of Sea Isalnd #4

Turnaround activities include preventative care of structure/equipment, general corrective repair of faults,
strip-downs, maintenance, complete replacement, and overhaul. The activities include but not limited to:

• Mechanical and structural repair and replacement
• Abrasive blasting and coating of the complete structure, pipes, and valves
• Electrical & instrumentation repair and replacement works
• Providing, erection, and dismantling of complete scaffolding
• Fabricate and install carbon steel and stainless steel process piping and drain lines.
• Carry out valve removal, cleaning, testing, blasting/coating, and re-installation.
• Miscellaneous construction and demolition work.
• Technical support in commissioning of the facility.
