  • My current job since January 2022

Kept work areas extremely clean and sanitized properly to avoid errors in research.
Preformed experiments with different operating conditions which help with the results discussion for the research.
Cleaned the reactor and the process line of the pilot plant using the proper solvents.
Preformed catalyst formulation using spray-dryer.
Handled troubleshooting tasks on malfunctioning lab equipment working with manufacturers to resolve problems.
Coordinated with research and development team to support production and boost efficiency.

Production Engineer at Al Jubail Petrochemical Company - Kemya
  • Saudi Arabia
  • June 2019 to December 2019

SABIC (KEMYA), Trainee
Worked as a Production engineer.
Understood how the plant operates by studying the manual.
Solved a mass balance task provided by the mentor.
Solved an energy balance task provided by the mentor.
Investigated a plugging in the stripper.
Redesigned one of the undersized heat exchangers.

Education

Master's degree, Petrochemical Engineering
  • at King Fahd University Of Petroleum & Minerals
  • August 2021

Master Project, Butadiene Production A thermodynamic study was done to discover the best operating conditions for the Oxidative Dehydrogenation of n-butane to achieve the highest butadiene selectivity. A catalyst and kinetics research was done to select the best possible catalyst along with the kinetics to be used in the simulation part A full simulation for the Oxidative Dehydrogenation and the Catalytic Dehydrogenation of n-butane was done using Aspen Plus. A comparison between the two process in terms of the purity, amount of butadiene, energy, and capital cost was done in order to select the optimum process.

Bachelor's degree, Chemical Engineering
  • at King Fahd University Of Petroleum & Minerals
  • June 2020

Senior project, Methanol Production Designed both the absorption column and flash drum theoretically. Designed both the absorption column and flash drum using Aspen Hysys to compare with theoretical results.
