- Develop & implement business growth strategies by identifying resources required in the market, pursuing new business opportunities, searching new information with distributor and key customers in order to achieve strategic business goals and expand market share.
- Promote, and ensure the maintenance of marketing database in order to facilitate identification of market, channel, outlet type and account priorities, weaknesses and opportunities
- Construct dashboards and models providing analytical measurement, reporting and tracking across all categories and Channels
- Build daily/ weekly and monthly reporting & business tracking to aid strategic discussion and decision making across all British American Tobacco brands.
- Provide Key category updates and actionable insights. Coordinate analytical support to the BAT Business on channel, customer and brand performance analysis, trends/competitive intelligence and activity effectiveness.
- Act as the key Liaison between distributor and British American Tobacco management, ensuring the upkeep and flow of information and various databases.
- Work closely with Sales Channel Managers, Supply Chain and Business leadership to create and manage Demand Forecasts for supply procurement, and distribution
- Facilitate short & long term demand forecasts to assist business management in development of business and sales plans. Lead the ongoing development and maintenance of demand planning processes and systems to improve forecasting accuracy
- Develop market intelligence and understanding by collecting business intelligence data from industry reports & collected data to delimit trends and to measure the impact of competitors’ marketing activities; in order to improve competitive position in the market.
- Actively work in the field/trade at least 4 days a month (on average) with field team to understand the customer environment as well as to conduct competitor analysis and data insights gathering.
- Manage and guide own team by motivating, delegating tasks, ensure team members understanding of roles, objectives, tasks and expected results to achieve high business performance.
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
