Current Project: (Secondment Service to Taiba Investment Hotel Project) (Dec 2021 till date)
• Reporting to Commercial and Contract Director of Taiba Investment.
• At present looking into pre-contract activities. (Tender BOQ, Tender Documents)
• Preparing technical and commercial Documents for the project.

• Involved in verifying PTE.

• Reporting to Commercial Manager, involved in both Pre & Post Contract activities.
• The project is a Re-measurable contract that includes dilapidation and outstanding works.
• Leading the commercial Post contract activities including but not limited to valuations, payment certifications, invoicing, claims, variations, cost reporting and contract administration.
• The basis of my role is to ensure that the interim payments applications are reviewed and submitted to the Client as per the condition of the contract, without causing unnecessary delays.
• Review Cost proposal for dilapidation or outstanding works. Most of the time, I perform site inspections to verify the cost proposal and make sure it complies with the contract requirements.
• I arrange meetings with the main contractor to discuss the variation order and discuss commercial progress whenever required.
• I am closely working with the Project management team while reviewing the cost proposal to mitigate contractual and commercial risk.
• I am always keen to develop a one-team approach that is truly Client-focused. I prepare a value engineering proposal by reducing the cost without reducing the quality of most of the MEP systems; this will maximise our opportunity to secure a good relationship with the Client and secure repeat business.
Pre-Contract Project:
Wadi Hanifah Landscape, DGDA, Bujairi Infrastructure, DGDA, Avenues Mall, Seven Mall, Triple Bay infrastructure, Deyaar Business Bay Tower 70 Floor, Dubai. MOT Asser Infrastructure 135KM, Balad Infrastructure, KSA.
• During the starting days of my employment in F+G, I have worked on Pre-Contract projects
• Prepare BOQ/PTE for Concept Design, Partial, and Fully Detailed Designs based on different measurements (POMI, CSIMF, CESMM, SMM7, NRMs).
• Carry out quantity take-off from the different drawings (Tender, IFC, Shop Drawings, etc., )
• Preparation of Cost plan, Budgetary cost, Commercial evaluation of tender returns.
• Advising on the cost impact of design changes for various Infrastructure, High rise towers, Museum & Hospitality projects.
• Study Sub-Contractors’ quotations and prepare technical & financial comparisons. Negotiating with suppliers/subcontractors for the best offer, they can give.

Read technical data, analyze and all types of take-off Quantities.
Preparation of Clients Bills & Contractors Bills and Schedules of Quantities of materials.
Prepare Re-measured BOQ
Quantity Estimation, Material Surveys, reconciliation of materials.
Knowledge of principles and methods of measurement. Ability to read drawings. Computer (MS Office, Auto CAD).
Analytical skills like Measurement accuracy, Ability to Study all the conditions and scope of work of the Contract to be executed. Check all commercial clauses of contract viz. terms of payment, advance payment, variations, re-measurable, etc.
Review tender documents including drawings.
Prepare Client Invoice, variation orders.
Prepare subcontract variation orders, subcontractor’s payment certificates.
Prepare Break Down & Commercial Proposal.
Supervise and manage the work of quantity surveyors to the best output & results.
Perform Rate Analysis from first principles.

Analyze subcontractors / suppliers quotes and prepare comparative statements (as required).
Prepare & defend claims & variation order.

Manage the clients within the contract’s limits.
Evaluate the projects risks (as required).
Work closely with colleagues in the C&R Department, as well as cooperate and support other de-partments (especially Finance & Operations) to the required extent.

Reviewing monthly payment certificate (invoice). Receiving and analyzing reports coming from sites about progress. Making plans for upcoming interim payment certificate for ongoing projects. Advising senior management on contractual matters. Negotiating with and managing Sub-Contractors with commercial matters on pro-jects.
Assistant Quantity Surveyor: India
Responsibilities:
• Preparing Surveying leveling at the site. As per the quantity surveyor request the material and worker on the site.
• Prepare program for daily work.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors for smooth flow of work. checking the drawings.
• Prepare subcontract variation orders, subcontractor’s payment certificates.
• Preparation of specifications when required as per industry standard. Review tender documents including drawings.
