Capstone project Thermochemical Heating Storage system can improve the efficacy of the energy storage unit, and keep costs low by better variable environmentally power sources as we utilized solar panel. In this project we utilized a chemical material (CaCl2) to react with humid air to generate a high heat energy (85 0c) and then store it in the sorption reactor to use it later. Calcium chloride (CaCl2) is a chemical salt that is the best available chemical for our studies despite the high water solubility and dissolution characteristics.
