In my present capacity, I am working as a Technology Service Director, where I function as a trusted IT advisor and provide guidance to the C-suite team to device IT strategy and drive innovation. I assess the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs.

My job duties include:
• Recommend information strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organizational outcomes
• Identify problems, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements.
• Identify and recommend new technology solutions
• Develop IT department strategy and operations improvements as technology leader driving growth-centric IT standards and practices to build and manage technology functions/teams; implement new Agile IT project management methodology to achieve improved business/system performance and align IT with mission-critical goals
• Handle project planning, business goals, milestone delivery, project cost, project operational & technology risk & compliance, resource allocation & utilization matrix.
• Deliver projects & work within a specified time, budget & resource constraints.

I conceived and hurled a scalable IT infrastructure landscape comprising modern components that enable Business Service and Data & Analytics to develop solutions that meet the business requirements. I also saved the costs of up to 500KSAR/year through restructuring Sakani and MoH initiatives infrastructure, deleting unused VMs, and scaling down project resources. I implemented numerous projects utilizing cloud-based services such as SaaS/IaaS, including MS Office 365, Oracle Fusion ERP, and STC IaaS.

Moreover, I mentor and build teams to maximize productivity levels; impart continuous training to the workforce for enhancing productivity & operational efficiencies.

As Head of Information Security, I successfully ensured corporate-wide IT information security; closed security vulnerabilities in multiple systems/networks to reduce security breaches/incidents, safeguard information from unauthorized users and enforce security privacy laws; define department’s IT security risk strategy, including quality controls & compliance to mitigate identified information security risks.

My Key Accomplishments includes:
• Looked after to network upgrade project for NCDC infrastructure and administered SOC implementation project.
• Executed security initiatives and promoted a positive internal corporate culture that led to enhanced efficiency and improved protection against security incidents.

As Head of IT Operations, I steered and controlled the secure and effective operation of SIMAH’s IT and network infrastructure geared towards delivering optimum performance and availability for system users while supporting efficient business operations. I also injected IT architectural governance strategy into the entire SIMAH data center migration project life cycle through well-defined engagement points for infrastructure team guidance, facilitation, contribution, and impact assessments; installed backup systems and disaster recovery plans; and implemented guidelines on access servers by staff.

My Key Accomplishments includes:
• Administered SIMAH’s data center redesign & migration to a new Tier-4 DC to resolve the security & availability issues in the current DC. Examined infrastructure’s performance while identifying/recommending improvements and assessed quality of storage infrastructure, leading to enhanced SIMAH operations.
• Established and executed SIMAH’s IS policies/procedures that enhanced operations protection against potential malware and security breaches

Moreover, I ensured users received timely resolution on moderate to complex issues about any hardware, software, and network-related problems.

Gathered and analyzed business requirements, generated detailed functional/technical specifications and created technical documentation; leveraged planning and project execution platform that delivered the stability necessary to shape capital projects early and consistently

Notable Contributions:
― Project System Implementation: Engaged in the implementation of Enterprise Project Management (EPM) project for Saudi Aramco encompassing realigning business procedures based on industry best practices along with an integrated IT application infrastructure built around the best-of-breed commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications.
― Staff Liaisons: Collaborated with IT division staff and assigned customers to ensure developed functionality meets business requirements.

Ensured correct implementation of all network security meters and procedures through configuring routers, switches, wireless APs/controllers, firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc. in accordance to SLA’s, and Tadawul’s policies, and procedures

I worked as System Analyst in IT planning department in Server Consolidation Project. My responsibility was to plan and architect servers' resources based on applications needs and satisfying business needs.
While in IT planning department, I had a great chance to participate in a major project (Server Consolidation Project) aiming to build the infrastructure (Servers, Storage, and Data Backup) for various STC IT systems.
