• Manage JCPDI Port 24/7 Security Operations, Port Facility Security Assessments and provide security presence in JCPDI harbor.
• Create JCPDI Port Security Plan and carry out necessary activities related to maritime and building security as determined by JCPDI Port Authority.
• Ensure delivery of high standard of service to port's clients, stakeholders and public w identifying security threats and patterns. Provide required security response and crisis management, while ensuring security measurement is adequate and protection is provided to JCPDI assets from theft and damage.
• Liaises with coast Guard, Port Operator and Port Authority in providing required security services and assistance and support port's users. Provide appropriate security services (e.g. closing piers, controlling traffic, etc.) during visits of cruise ships to JCPDI Port. Locking and unlocking of all port facilities.
• Placing any movable signs for passenger information, making announcements on public address system.
• Provide patrols within port and harbor areas for security purposes, enforcing parking restrictions, investigating any problems or incidents in area and checking for problems or defects.
• Provide, assistance to staff within other infrastructure Departments as required and assist in emergency procedures e.g. clearing area of public, closing roads and traffic control.
