Deliver entrepreneurial leadership to establish a first-ever jewellery retail brand (Baby Fitaihi) targeting newborns and children. Provide direction to oversee strategic planning, P&L management, financial forecasting, organisational structuring, business modelling, and marketing campaign development. Steer overall business operations while managing key HR functions that involve recruitment of C-suite-level staff to meet the organisation's leadership needs.
Business Expansion. Expanded business operations across 13 KSA and Gulf major cities by opening 32 Baby Fitaihi showrooms. Developed 45 showrooms across the globe (including China) that ultimately yielded ~$10M in revenue. Rebranding Oversight. Acquired and rebranded "Fitaihi Junior" to "M. Fitaihi" by showcasing contemporary elegant design collections of international award-winning designers. New Brand Development. Introduced a new brand for art paintings and crafts (Mamluki) while getting inspiration from the design and calligraphy works of the Mamluk Islamic era. Crisis Management. Ensured smooth running of business operations during the COVID-19 pandemic by increasing online sales and remotely managing the supply chain department. Programme Mentor: Served as a member of the SERB accelerator programme. Positioned as Mentor and Instructor for the QOTUF accelerator programme. TV Appearance. Acted as a Judge in the Saudi national TV show "Do you have an idea?" (2014) to evaluate new business ideas of the entrepreneurs. Board Leadership: Served as the Chairman of the Board of OQAL Jeddah, a venture capital investment club, from 2016-2019. Played a vital role in creating a thriving entrepreneurship ecosystem in Saudi Arabia. Technology Integration: Brought technology innovation by sourcing and integrating emerging IT systems.
