• Monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive maintenance schedule and completion
for landscape irrigation systems.
• Design, construction, installation and operation management of irrigation, drainage network
systems.
• Conduct pre-tender site visit, prepare the minute of site visit, technical clarifications and
preparation of tender documents.
• Evaluate the submitted offers and prepare the Technical and financial reports.
• Supervise and monitor the irrigation activities and take the corrective action.
• Monitor the projects progress as per the submitted program by the contractor to take
appropriate action to catch the delay.
• Evaluate the variation orders, and monthly progress claims.
• Supervise and ensure timely resolution of corrective maintenance requests/complaints.
• Prepare the update and prepare/generate reports on maintenance work in coordination with
MEP section.
• Maintain the stock of repair parts to ensure appropriate maintenance of irrigation system.
• Supervise and participate in the installation of any lines and ensure that the outsourced
technicians/maintenance staff are adequately utilizing the irrigation systems.
• Supervise Construction and Lining of Canals.
• Coordinate all activities related and supervision of the third party contractor’s irrigation staff.
• Ensure that contractor’s irrigation staff follow appropriate Safety and security guidelines at all
times Monitor acquisition and use of materials.
• Maintain confidentiality of information at all times.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary or as assigned by the head section.

Main Works : -
Rehabilitation of Hafez El-Sharkia Canal (km 24 - Km 27.7), replacement of 17 traditional open
Mesqas with pipeline Mesqas, rehabilitation of 5 elevated open Mesqas, installing pumping
station, rehabilitation of Hydraulic regulators and improving irrigation facilities.
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force
and the work of any subcontractors.
• Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client or
architect.
• Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and
the general workforce involved in the project.
• Planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed
deadlines.
• Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
• Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
