 Member of Pre opening team for Fairmont Makkah Clock Royal Tower & Raffles Makkah Palace
 Building and starting the Finance division for both properties.
 Installing and modifying all accounting systems for the division for both properties.
 Operation: (Sep2009-Current)
 Checking all monthly operating entries.
 Preparing month end Journal Entries.
 Reviewing all the reconciliations for the balance sheet.
 Reconcile the bank statement on daily basis.
 Preparing & analysing the Cash flow on a monthly basis.
 Preparing the Month End commentary for the month.
 Preparing & reviewing the monthly P&L.
 Reconcile the bank statement on daily basis.
 Assisting the Group Assistance Financial Controller & Group Financial Controller in the preparation of the Annual operation budget and monthly forecast.

• Operations Accounting
Having an Introduction to the company policy & procedures and doing an intensive course in “Operation Accounting” at the corporate and working full time at Fairmont Royal York in Finance division for day to day operation for the purpose of preparing me for the new three hotels in Saudi Arabia.

Enrolled in Four seasons famous corporate program “Manager In Training (MIT) Route” in Finance.
This Program has been designed to prepare a fresh graduate who has the potential for the position of Accounting Manager or Cheif Accountant.

• Accounts Payable: Oct 2008 - Sep 2009
 Process all account payable invoices and manual checks through the computer system.
 Prepare journal entry for accrual of invoices after closing and for goods and services received but not yet invoiced.
 Check all petty cash expenses and do proper G/L coding.
 Month end reconciles the entire vendor invoices with purchase ledger balances and keep them ready for payment.
 Prepare the monthly prepaid payments journal entry.

• Purchasing Department: Aug 2008 - Sep 2008
 Maintain an up-to-date file of the receiving copy of all approved orders.
 Prepare the Daily Receiving Report and forward it to the Account payable attached with all invoices and purchase orders.

• Assistant Credit Manager: Feb 2008- Jul 2008
 Establish & maintain local credit policies & procedures regarding billing, collection, credit cards & check cashing.
 Write off or adjust uncollectible accounts after approval by the Director of Finance according to established corporate guidelines.
 Prepare month end reports & reconciliations as prescribed by policies & procedures for all receivable accounts including credit cards.
 Supervise day to day activities of Accounts receivable clerk & do performance individual as prescribed by hotel policy.


• Income Auditor: Jan 2007- Jan 2008
 Preparing Daily Revenue Report., Revenues & Settlements.
 Cash Journal. (Balance to General Cashier Report. *Investigate all Over and Shorts with General Cashier and with Manager )
 Ensure the Ledgers Balance Daily.
 Month End
 Reconcile all third party vendors to the General Ledger.
 Preparing all the month end Reconciliation Reports
 Supervisory of Two Day Auditors & General Cashier.

It was an Internship of 6 months. I was working as Asst. Restaurant Manager and Shadowing the Restaurant Manager in his daily Operaton.
