▪ Plan and manage the logistic aspects and define the project execution plan liaising with the client and the project delivery team in line with the Project requirements in terms of cost, scope of work and duration.
▪ Lead the coordination with consultants’ construction logistics activities along with contractors’ actual operational logistics.
▪ Oversee the development and implementation of the site set-up plan for efficient movement of manpower, machinery, and materials around the project (e.g., Storage areas, fencing, gates, Lay down areas and offloading points, security, material handover, waste management etc. that)
▪ Plan and execute secure and efficient internal and external routes for the movements of vehicles, machinery, and people, with consideration of interfaces with future planned works.
▪ Oversee the traffic management internally and externally.
▪ Ensure that plans and procedures related to construction logistics are in place, and comply with local and national environmental, health and safety standards.
▪ Implement effective monitoring of project performance using digital technology in key areas, keeping a record of key performance indicators (KPI), and take corrective action when needed.
▪ Set up logistic meetings with contractors and
seek to identify and remediate project logistical problems.
