I worked atKing Saud University as a researcher and lecturer assistant. My research interests are focused on designing, managing, monitoring, controlling, and optimizing of manufacturing systems. Meanwhile, I supervised many graduation projects that applied lean Six Sigma concept (eliminate the defect and production wasted time) in several real case studies that faces some factories in Riyadh. I was involved in two funded projects.My publications are in an international journals with high impact factors, and I attend international conferences related to manufacturing systems.
My teaching areas are related to systems engineering, with emphasis on system design, performance optimization, industrial information systems, and production planning, monitoring and control. In addition, I trained a professional designing, simulation, and analyzing software that includes Solid Works, Arena, Minitab.
I have started working worked in a production department as a Production Supervisor. After one year of hard working, I got a good achievement especially in defects and wasted time elimination, which reflected directly to the factory net profit. This helped me to be promoted to a Production Manager. The factory produces polystyrene products such as industrial products that used for manufacturing appliances, packaging product, and construction isolation products .My responsibilities are includes:
* Planning and organizing production schedules;
* Assessing project and resources requirements
estimating;
*Negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers;
* Determining quality control standards;
* Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary;
* Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials;
* Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment;
* Designing products and molds.
* Liaising with molds, machines and equipment manufacturers/suppliers.
* Liaising son with buyers, marketing and sales staff;
I have worked as a Production Supervisor responsible for polystyrene production lines. The factory produces polystyrene products such as industrial products that used for manufacturing appliances, packaging product, and construction isolation products .My responsibilities are includes:
* Planning and organizing production schedules;
* Assessing project and resources requirements
estimating;
* Determining quality control standards;
* Overseeing production processes;
* Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary;
* Designing products and molds.
* Supervising the work of junior staff.
Master Degree in manufacturing systems M. Sc. (GPA:4.88/5 with distinction, 1st degree honors. My thesis research was focused on managing the manufacturing system to deal with changes and risk that come from the nature of production environment or from market competition.
Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from King Khalid University,(GPA:4.76/5).
