• Setting up the company from Scratch
• Business Development
• Running of the company, responsibilities are:
o To manage all in country matters pertaining to the governance of the business.
o Ensure that training is being undertaken at each branch.
o Quality control on workmanship.
o Making sure that quality control is adhered to.
o Weekly reporting to the Operation Manager and Managing Director on any issues, operationally and financially. Covering work in progress, stock levels, new potential work, sales and potential threats.
o Health & Safety in all locations.
o Making sure that stock levels are being maintained via Branch Mangers / Supervisors and stores personnel.
o Ensuring there outstation stock is correct for locations.
o Product development in all fields of operations.
o Development of Branch Managers / Supervisors.
o Giving Branch Managers / Supervisors quarterly appraisals.
o Setting Branch Managers / Supervisors with quarterly objectives.
o Helping Branch Managers / Supervisors with quarterly appraisals for local staff.
o Main workshop / outstation performance appraisals.
o Recruiting local staff in conjunction with Branch Managers / Supervisors
• Assist the Managing Director in complete setup of the company including procedures
Parts & Logistics Manager
• Cleaning Up Existing Stores (NGBL)
• Implementing Min, Max, Safety Stock, Re-Order Points / Quantities.
• Training Stores Personnel.
• Introducing new stores system (Items Numbering, Inventory Management).
• Set Up, Implementation and Training of Pronto (New ERP Software)
With DAMS Being a New Company, the following roles were also taken on:
Acting Operations Manager
• Running Day to Day operations of the company in MD’s Absence, Meeting with Client, Operations consist of:
• Drilling Department “RC & Diamond Drilling”
• Mining Department
• TSF Uplift
• And Other Day to Day Operations
Acting IT Manager
• Managed DAMS’s IT Department from Start up (Network Servers, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Email Server, etc...)
Acting Maintenance Manager
• Overseeing all sections of Maintenance Department from Start Up
• Planning
• Service Crews
• Light Vehicle Maintenance
• Heavy Duty Maintenance
• Initial Period was consultancy (i.e. French Translation & Training in Francophone Countries)
• Tarkwa Hand over on 11th May 2009
• Managing 5 Workshops (Tarkwa, Bogoso, Wassa, AUMS Ahafo & AUMS Chirano)

• Overlooking stock on all sites and re-ordering
