- Supervise and manage a team of junior engineers and draftsman to ensure the output meets the project requirements and schedule without compromise in the quality.
- Support proposal team during proposal stage which includes preliminary design, estimated cost.
- Review P&ID and provide corrections (if any) to process engineer.
- Prepare technical documents and drawings for approval related to Automation System (PLC, HMI, SCADA), Automation Architecture, PLC I/O List, Panel Design, Power and Control Cable Schedule, Power Cable Sizing, Cable Route, Cable Tray, Instruments Specifications, Instruments Hook-Up Drawings, MCC Design in accordance with project specifications and schedule.
- Meeting with the client/consultant for any clarifications to get the work approved.
- Provide support to the construction team to execute the job at the site as per the design.
- Witness and perform FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) for panels.
- Witness and perform SAT (Site Acceptance Test) for the panels.
- Program PLC using Ladder Logic and Function Blocks as per Control Philosophy.
- Design SCADA and HMI as per the Process and Project Specifications.
- Configure and calibrate field instruments.
- Perform loop test for the automation system.
- Perform dry test, pre-commissioning for the project.
- Perform wet test, commissioning for the project.
- Provide support for Operation and Maintenance.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
Some of the major projects executed are listed below:
- Sewage Treatment Projects:
i) Conventional waste water treatment plant at Jeddah industrial City with a capacity of 50, 000 CMD
ii) Membrane Bio Reactor (MBR) waste water treatment plant with a capacity of 30, 000 cmd at al asla valley (North Jeddah).
iii) Industrial waste water treatment plant at Sudair industrial city with a capacity of 10, 000 CMD.
iv) Industrial waste water treatment plant at Dammam industrial city - 3 with a capacity of 10, 000 CMD.
v) Membrane Bio Reactor (MBR) waste water treatment plant at KFSH, Riyadh with a capacity of 8000 CMD.
- Combined Projects for Sewage Treatment and Reverse Osmosis
i) Membrane Bio Reactor (MBR) Sewage Treatment Plant with a capacity of 10, 000 CMD and treating the effluent with Reverse Osmosis with a capacity of 5000 CMD in coordination with Japanese counterparts CHIYODA and KOBELCO assigned by the Japanese Government.
- Reverse Osmosis Projects:
i) Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) with a capacity of 15, 000 CMD supplying water to Jeddah City
ii) Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) with a capacity of 2500 CMD supplying water to Pepsi Cola Factory in Jeddah
iii) Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis (BWRO) 50, 000 CMD supplying clean water to Riyadh City at Salboukh.
iv) Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis (BWRO) 50, 000 CMD supplying clean water to Al Kharj City.
v) Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) with a capacity of 1000 CMD supplying water to Head Quarters Business Park in Jeddah
Scope of Work: * Read the P & ID diagrams for the R.O and S.T.P stations.
* Calculations of electrical loads, cable scheduling (Power and Control).
* Proper equipment selections and preparation of Bill of Materials.
* Design the power diagram & MCC for the station.
* Design the Automation Architecture for the System.
* Design & Program PLC & HMI for the system.
* Perform the commissioning of the station at the final stages.
* Calibration of field transmitters.
* Troubleshoot any problems during the commissioning.

Scope of Work: * Worked as an Instrumentation Engineer along with Pesco Beams.
* Reading P&I drawings for the plant.
* Calibration of Transmitters control valves and pressure gauges.
* Control Loop Checking and Testing.
* Provide technical assistance in plant commissioning
* Monitor the plant thru Allenbradly PLC and SCADA
* Control and Maintenance.
* Co-ordination with other disciplines and providing necessary Technical support.
