As a full-time systems administrator with a web hosting company in an Infrastructure as a service environment, requires Implementation, administration, optimization and trouble shooting on cross-platform technologies.
◇ Managing the day-to-day operations of IIS, Apache and MySQL web application servers with 150, 000 + website spread across 200+ Windows 2008 R2 and CentOS webservers integrated within Cpanel/WHM and Plesk Control Panel
◇ Managing the day-to-day operations of Exchange 2010, Exim 4, Postfix and Mail Enable Professional Mail Servers with 300, 000+ mailboxes spread across 250+ Windows 2008 R2 and CentOS 6 webservers
◇ Managing day-to-day operations of Bind, WinDns and PowerDNS servers with 200, 000+ zones
◇ Managing the day-to-day operation of 50+ ESXi, Hyper-v and virtuozzo's hosts in a vsphere and SCVMM cluster environment grouped as internal and customers virtual server services.
◇ Managing EMC vnx5300, NX4, NS480 iSCSI SAN storage infrastructure
◇ Testing, Scheduling and Standardising Backup-Restore procedure using Bacula and backblaze storage pods for internal and customer data
◇ Intensive resource, applications and services monitoring using nagios/opsview, mail filtering and monitoring through barracuda and network bandwith utilization and DDOS detection using netflow.
◇ Writing custom scripts for task automation using bash, perl, power shell
◇ Managing centralized servers configuration across servers using puppet.
◇ Securing servers with iptables, detecting, cleaning and suspending hacked websites and spammers
◇ Develop new system and application implementation plans, documenting and testing procedures to ensure operational reliability.

Administaring Windows and Linux based business application spread across Head Office and 11 branches, on EMC CX-300 and AX4 Storage, Consulted with client companies to provide Web-based and network solutions along with strategic planning and project leadership over systems migration, configuration, administration, upgrades and troubleshooting initiatives.
◇ Maintain Data Center to ensure availability, integrity, operatibility, and normal functionality of Data Center, in terms of Power, Cooling, UPS, Alarms systems, etc. This includes managing Data Center and IT Assets maintenance contracts.
◇ Maintain windows 2003 Active Directory Environment (Domain) spread across 11 branches with 2000+ user & computer accounts to ensure availability, integrity, operatibility, and normal functionality of the entire domain. This includes, but not limited to Domain Controllers, Additional Domain Controller, Group Policies, Replication Operation, DNS, DHCP, Servers.
◇ Administration & Maintenance of windows 2003, 2008 (IIS) & Redhat Enterprise Linux 5 (Web Sphere) Clustered Application servers spread across head office and branches which hosts business critical pplications.
◇ Installation, Maintenance and modification of EMC storage (CX-300 / AX4) and Dell Power Vault 132t Tape Administer all local and remote server backups with Symantec Backup Exec 12 (Veritas)
◇ Performing OS patching, software delivery and desktop migration to a total of 2000 users, across 12 locations for corporate client/server systems using Symantec Altris Client Mgmt Suite.
◇ Implements and maintains systems administration security as per company policies and procedures.
◇ Planning and implementing system security policy, to include firewalls, host and client access, file permissions, and user accounts
◇ Created proactive procedures for problem preventions and resolutions, interfaced with software developers, analyzed issues, and designed solutions.
◇ Maintain Product Contracts, Agreements, and Support Services, in order to fulfill business requirements in terms of providing required applications licenses which being in compliance with legal and licensing requirements of the product
