Duties and responsibility in Saudi Electrical Company -SEC: -
Developing and implementing of health safety plans and evaluating practices and compliance with legal
guidelines
❖ Ensure that all hazardous activities are analyzed and required preventive measures are implemented
❖ Perform safety surveys and inspection prepare written report of findings and recommendation of corrective and
preventive measures, and follow up on task completion.
❖ Set goals and objective for the health safety program, aiming to improve workplace safety
❖ Advise and get support from top management in health and safety maters
❖ Review all permits, associated certificates and documents to ensure compliance to permit to work.
❖ Organize weekly and monthly safety committee meeting with client and contractor,
Subcontractors.
❖ Training and assist site engineers, supervisors and workers
❖ Leading health safety campaign programs and implement new ideas
❖ Ensure all personnel have the necessary training for the project, arrange if required new training
❖ Leading /participating accident and incident investigation and near miss reporting to the management.
❖ To responsible for the day-to-day management of the safety section.
❖ Conduct management self -audit to take proactive measures for client /third party
❖ Prepare Daily, Weekly, Monthly and report to submit Client and country EHS Head.
❖ Approving and arranging for the purchase of safety equipment’s.
❖ Leading weekly safety walkthrough, and ensure all activity ongoing as per approved job safety procedure
my responsibility Ruwais ADNOC Housing complex Expansion Project Phase 4:-
. To advise on the implementation of HSE Plan and Cop’s.
.Preparation of documents as per client safety requirements.
.Reviews all permits, associated certificates and documents to ensure compliance to PTW.
. Prepare risk assessments, written safe work procedures
. Co-ordinate with Client HSE team for the Implementation of Site traffic rules and regulations.
.Ensure that all lifting activities is performed as per approved MSRA
. Ensure that all precast erection activities is performed as per ADEHSMS Cop as well as approved
MSRA
..Taking corrective action against safety violation
.Check workplace hazards and risk control. Daily site reports to the site activities.
.Accident and incident investigation and reporting to the management.
. To responsible for the day to day management of the safety section.
.Participate fire drill evacuation and environment emergency drill
. Inspection and documentation of all lifting gears, plants and equipment’s etc.
.Conduct safety induction and internal trainings for work force.
.To prepare safety report based on safety observation for reviewing by the project manager to
allow for further occurring.
To advise on the implementation of council standards, code of practice and safe system of work
Preparation of documents client safety requirements
To interpret and advise on the implementation of health safety legislation
Implementation of HSE rules and responsibilities
Reviews all permits, associated certificates and documents to ensure compliance to the Permit to work
Work rules, procedures and regulations. Notifies PTW signatories of conflicting work activities

Conducts Permit to Work meetings to ensure review and signing by signatories ready for permit issue.

Respond to requests for HS & E advise/guidance/information wherever appropriate.
To advise and assist in the planning and promotion of HSE program and establishing a suitable organization to put them in to effect
Provide, or where necessary source, training for staff in relation to Health and Safety policies, practice and procedures
Ensure all personnel have the necessary training for the project and new hire safety training orientation
Review and Analyze Accident/Incident Reports and Corrective Actions.
Ensure the establishment of the quality management system and its maintenance in accordance with ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 standards.
Monitor the effectiveness of HSE training activities provided for council employees
Prepare site safety observation form & control measures
Health and hygiene implementation in the work place
To assist in preparing safety induction and training to site workers to ensure workers are educated with safety and health awareness.
