Assist the Director of Engineering in every aspect of the operation as requested.
Substitute for the Director of Engineering in all matters in any absence from duty.
Prepare monthly comparative utility consumption reports and keep constant survey of correct calibration of all utility recording instruments.
Assist in the training of employees ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with maximum efficiency.
Supervise the employees within the Department, ensuring that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained as stated in the Department's Operations Manual.
Plan & Control the spares parts & consumables requirement for all electro mechanic systems
Operation and maintenance of all electro mechanic systems
Maintain all equipments (boilers, chillers, pumps, AHUs, Fan coils, Kitchen and laundry equipments).
To assist the Chief Engineer in ensuring the efficient and economic operation of the Engineering Department in support of all other operating Departments, supplying services as required to the entire operation, and maintaining equipment, building, and grounds in optimum condition.
Project Management responsibilities on all Mall undergoing projects.
Operation and maintenance of all electro mechanic systems as well as the building in the Mall
Procurement and contract management
Plan & Control the spares parts & consumables requirement for all electro mechanic systems
Maintains Log & records on electro mechanic equipment for preventive, corrective maintenance, replacements & mal functions
Implement an energy saving strategy plan.
Designing maintenance programs
Daily inspection for Mall utilities & building and take the necessary actions to maintain the well operation & appearance of the mall.
Responsible to make all maintenance programs for all hotel equipment and rooms.
Responsible for Preventive Maintenance program (Hotsos).
Provide advice to senior management on all aspects of maintenance, environmental and operational efficiency of the property.
Primarily responsible for Depreciation and rationalization of energy consumption
(electricity - natural gas - water).
Responsible for industrial water treatment for Steam Boilers & cooling towers and swimming pool.
Ensure the quality of all work completed by both employees and external contracted staff adheres to the standards of good engineering practice.
Develop and assist with training activities focused on improving skills and knowledge.
Ensure employees have a complete understanding of the maintenance philosophy and know how to handle the system professionally.
Monitor employee morale and provide mechanisms for performance feedback and development.
Supervises all hazardous work and ensures all safety regulations are being strictly observed by all employees.
Ensures effective ENERGY Conservation measures in areas of operations
Maintain all equipment (boilers, chillers, pumps, AHUs, Fan coils, Kitchen and laundry equipment).
To assist the Maintenance Manager in ensuring the efficient and economic operation of the

Shift inspection and rectification.
Making programs for maintenance for all equipment and hotel rooms.
General guidance supervision of the heat, light and power engineer or delegate, operates, maintains and repairs all aspects of the hotels systems, in accordance with the standards to achieve optimum operating efficiency of equipment at all times.
